There are plenty. Take Newt Gingrich, for example. He left his cancer-stricken wife to be with his mistress. Also, there's Bob Barr. He's was a well-known proponent of "family values" and anti-abortion legislation, but interestingly enough, he's been married several times, has cheated on his wives, and even paid for one of his wives' abortion!And let's not just focus on the legislators! Consider "Dr." Laura Schlessinger. Her radio show is devoted to telling us how to live our lives, despite the fact that she is no paragon of virtue herself. For example, she slept with her current husband when he was still married to his previous wife. Not only that, but she wrote a book on the Ten Commandments, even though she broke the Commandment about honoring one's parents, because when her mother died, she hadn't even spoken to her in years. Also, let's not forget the nudie pics! Also, you can add Ted Haggard to the list for obvious reasons.

His main right wing support here in Louisiana is calling for him to resign. They are consistent. they called for Clinton to resign and now they're calling for Vitter to resign. It's time for Vitter to get a grip on his self indulgence and realize that he cannot adequately represent his constituency.
