The same week we learn the "Iraqi government" isn't hitting its "benchmarks". Reminds me of Tom Ridge and his orange alerts.

Here's a thought: get out and let the Iraqis defeat al Qaeda.

More fear mongering from Bush & Co.

Aww.. I have five people that do not approve of my comment.
Poor you... I pity you poor puppets.

It's not the Bush administration, it's all the intelligence assets in the US that released that report. And you say they aren't hitting their benchmarks, well they hit 8, missed 8 and 2 are undecided. That's called a tie, not a miss, and given the grim news we are used to receiving from that region, I call that a positive. Frankly, I expected worse. Your suggestion that the Iraqis will defeat Al Qaeda is a testament to your igorance.

the international is merely no longer that easy. it is not a conflict against a rustic yet against human beings (Al-Qaeda) international huge who share a spiritual concept device that desires to make all human beings else ineffective. you think of Israel is the killer of innocents. Lebanon objectives Israeli civilians faraway from militia web sites. Lebanon locates militia operations interior the midst of their own civilian inhabitants to advance collateral harm and have interaction our own media to sell their side. everyone can call for a right now give up-hearth. it quite is merely efficient whether that's enforceable. At this element it is not. The UN is an impotent (and corrupt) business enterprise which could/will do no longer something. the sole behavioral subject I see with Bush and something of the U. S. at this 2d isn't taking flight from th UN and combating our sending it US tax money for which we'd have extra useful use.

Behold: We finally ARE fighting the people in Iraq that attacked US on 9-11. It was the Saudis who did the 9-11 attacks, and now the largest number of foreign fighters against the US in Iraq are Saudis. A self fulfilling prophecy. But behold: the administration still says that it is Iran that is supplying the foreign fighters--and this, to the majority of stupid people, will justify attacking Iran.

The same week when the Iraqi Prime Minister said the US troops could leave anytime because their own troops could handle it with only a little more help with training....nope, not surprised at all.

Of course not, we gave Iraq to Al-Qaida on a silver platter when we invaded. Al-Qaida had absolutely ZERO force in Iraq until after the invasion and the removal of the power structure that kept them out. I don't think that Saddam was a nice guy or anything, but he didn't have a damn thing to do with 9/11 other than to watch it on the news and say "oh ****, they're going to blame this on me!"
