I know a lot of people don't like our president, but he isn't the first one people didn't like. Does everyone have to insult him and completely debase his character. The U.S. is still in decent shape, and do you think he intentionally tried to screw us over? I have no problem with people who disagree with him and think he did a bad job, but I do have a problem with people who attack him and say that he's a terrible person because I refuse to believe that's true. He has served our country in the way he thought was best. And don't forget we elected him.

taking into consideration what he has said the last 6 years about anything and what eventually transpired...why should I believe him now if he tells me anything?

In fact, is it not logical to assume that whatever Bush says or advocates at this time that we should do the complete opposite?

I believe that the world would be a far safer place without Nuclear weapons. However, as far as Im aware (being a Brit) the American Constitution states that people have the right to bear arms in order to defend themselves. With this in mind if the USA, Russia, UK, France and a few others are allowed to stock a nuclear arsenal, why do America and her allies feel the need to chastise Iran. Don't get me wrong I don't want the Iranians to have the capability either, but surely they have a right to defend themselves like everyone else. If not then America should be hassling the UK and France too.

Your sensible thoughts please?

What's the deal with everyone using this term to describe Democrats and slightly Left-leaning people?

It's moronic. If Republicans aren't Liberal, does that mean they're opposed to individual liberty, freedom of thought and the other values of a democratic nation?

Once again, the term "Liberal" is being used as an adjective, and incorrectly at that. It is not - I repeat - not the name of a party. Think of a better term... gosh, maybe even "Left-Wing"?

sounds to me like they want every job possible,every scolership,they want to say anything they want,but u cant say it back.is it possible the reason the black person didnt get hired was because the person whocdid was more qualified,or that the kid who got the scolership had a higher sat score and better grades,or is it the little invisible white man in every corner who changes grades,and job application info just so the black person didnt get hired.after all if the black person didnt get the job,or scolership it is cleary racist.and doest the double standard in this country actually make blacks look inferior.think about it,if they can say things whites cant,or they will be punished,doesnt that make the reason seem bacause they are not equall?

first off i want to say im a white , male , american citizen .

ok well i know it has never worked but whats so scary about equality . why cant we mix soclialism with demorcrazy . i know that people fear dictators . i dont believe in a dictator either . i like the way our countrys government is set up . i just dont like the people that run it and i think that every decision the president or congress makes should be voted by the people and we should only have one political party . that way no one can hate someone because their republician or democrat . am i crazy ?

Let me tell you some things about me and you can judge . Im 35 ( that doesnt matter ) i dont approve of the government . i dont approve of war . im an indepent...i dont believe we've had a good president ever....I like jimmy carter...i love michael moore movies . im against republicans beliefs . im not religious . I dont have a real job , ( i live with my father ) i love hippies ( i drive a hippie bus ) . but i dont do drugs...i will not watch fox news...and i think that bush caused 9-11 . am i a liberal ?
