I don't know about a left-wing conspiracy. I'm still waiting for Patrick Fitzgerald to actually indict someone of the crime of outing Plame.

I think I'm in for a long wait, because quite frankly I don't think a crime was committed, because the law defining a covert op does not include Plame.

I would like to see if he finally issues an indictment against the head of the most corrupt regime in America, Richard Daley, as well as Gov. Blagojevich and Obama's bag-man Tony Rezko before giving a definitive yes or no. Jim Laski is the highest level Democrat he has gone after. There is plenty of Daley and Blagojevich criminal activity which can be prosecuted but it seems as though he is playing out the clock to insure neither will be indicted before the next president is sworn in and he is replaced.

I liked the George Ryan prosecution. I like the cases against lower level players in Daley's crime syndicate. I'm glad he went after Sun Time crook Conrad Black as well.

The Libby / Plame case was nonsense - there was no crime, she was not a covert agent.

Why not - apparently CNN and the NY Times were demonstrating thier left wing bias when they endorsed Bush for president in 2000
