Iraq war = lost
Post war Iraq= Failed
Helping the poor = none
VA Benefits = CUT by republican leaders and bush
Military Raises = Are you kidding? a slap in the face to our brave soldiers

Arming our troops = just ask them. republicans refuse to provide them with armor

Tax cuts = for rich only

Medical care = They want it to remain FOR PROFIT.
Minimum wage = Wasnt raised untill republicans lost the house and senate and our Democratic Leaders passed a raise for the poor. republicans wanted to clock this bill. bush reluctantly signed it

Oil Dependence = repubicans will always defend these people and refuse to transition to alternative energy

Stem cell research which can CURE disease = NON esxistant funding for this moral and valuable research. They put politics above health and force religious beliefs on other people.

So the question is. What will they run on and why do they even bother?

Since Hillary likes to talk like a plantation slave when speaking before a Black audience, and like a Southern Belle when stumping in the South, will she be shaving her head and wearing some L.L. Bean threads for the Gay Debates?

Nobody can really get anything done in Iraq because there aren't enough US troops & nothing can get done in Washington because Dems don't have enough votes.

So what ends up happening? Nothing. Except 1000s of casualties to US troops & Iraqi civilians & an ever stronger Al Qaeda.

Don't you love the US Govt?

Hitler was a secular leader of a nation of factional religious groups.
Hitler was an absolute dictator.
Hitler employed propaganda, hate-mongering, xenophobia and government-sponsored terror against his own people.
Hitler made war against his neighbors.
Hitler's occupying armies committed various atrocities. against their conquered populations.
Hitler used weapons of mass destruction.
Hitler had a nuclear weapon program.
We tried, in good faith, to secure peace with Hitler.
Hitler didn't want peace.
Hitler was a seven-figure murderer.
We destroyed Hitler's empire.

Were we wrong?

Substitute Saddam Hussein for Hitler above.
Were we wrong?

If you answered "yes" to both questions, Congratulations! You are an intellectually honest conscientious objector.
If you answered one differently than the other, you are not anti-war; you are just anti-Bush.

I respectfully disagree with pacifists.
I condescendingly disagree with hypocrites.

One of the reasons explaining why the Pakistani regime abandoned Waziristan and engineered the “Talibanization” of the frontier provinces, apart from the military casualties that it had by the insurgents and the accommodation with the pro-Taliban tribal leaders, was the rebellion in Baluchistan. Pakistani forces were re-deployed in this region, rich in resources and with 6.5 million poor, because the popular Baluchi rebellion has powerfully escalated against the corrupt Pakistani government and the ruling families plundering the wealth of Baluchistan.
The hated Musharraf dictatorship, caught between popular rebellions and imperialism’s growing suspicions sees its future, if any, bleak as never before.

....Bush goes there and rides with him?

Spc. Gabriel Vassell told the reporter, "…We have people up there in Congress with the brain of a 2-year-old who don't know what they are doing, they don't experience it. I challenge the president or anyone who has us for 15 months to ride alongside me. I'll do another 15 months if he comes out here and rides along with me every day. I'll do 15 more months. They don't even have to pay me extra."

Al Qaeda is as strong as ever (if not stronger) & the war on terror has scared the American people into supporting (or not being able to stop) Bush on almost anything he does.

Take away the war on terror & that all goes away. Bin Laden wouldn't find as many new recruits if the US/Bush wasn't in Iraq & Bush wouldn't have the war time powers that have made him a virtual dictator.

So who wants to win the war on terror and lose all the power? Bush? Bin Laden? I highly doubt either of them want anyone to win the war on terror because it's the fuel that keeps the fire going.

Income tax - brought in to pay for World war one - a temporary and voluntary measure - More or less the same story in the US but of course a little different

GST a neutral tax that would generate no new income for the government (bullion dollar surplus because of the GST)

Etc etc

How on earth did we run this nation before all these taxes

Gas tax - more than 35% of the price you pay is tax at that pump the oil company is small fries compared to the government - They sure didn't have that in 1910

How did governments survive ?
