Nobody can really get anything done in Iraq because there aren't enough US troops & nothing can get done in Washington because Dems don't have enough votes.

So what ends up happening? Nothing. Except 1000s of casualties to US troops & Iraqi civilians & an ever stronger Al Qaeda.

Don't you love the US Govt?

There is more progress being made in Iraq than in the halls of congress because our troops are not paying attention to the blabbering of Pelosi and Reid. As far as that goes the low popularity of congress shows the public is not paying much attention to the blabbering either. It is the media that keeps feeding the lib ego by giving coverage to the outrageous actions of Reid and Pelosi.

This always happens when the Congress and the President are from different parties.....remember the Federal govt shutting down twice in the 90's because the President and Congress could not agree on a budget?
