Sid...this is amazing...and I suspect most unexpected on your part...

You have brought out a bunch of Hate America Firsters!

America is the best country because of:

1 - Liberty
2 - Federalism
3 - Rule of Law
4 - An insight offered by the Frenchman Marbois when discussing the price for the Louisiana Purchase (paraphrasing): "Think about what you are buying...you are not just buying land, you are buying no neighbors...no disputes."

These things make our *government* the best...people are no different anywhere.

Congratulations on your new found wealth. Now if you really want to make more money, I can give you an idea that will make you more money then the Queen. So before you retire, listen up.
Yes you can make money in America selling large belts, but there is allot of competition here, and people have been fat here for a long time, so they already own large belts. What you need is a place where people are just beginning to embrace their fatness. I'm of course talking about England. For Large belts England is a virgin market (just like the men there) There will be little competition there, and best of all they're still growing. A guy who buys a 48 belt will buy a 50 belt the next week, and the week after that, a 52. You would be able to buy and sell Richard Branson in two years. Your only real problem is getting enough leather to make all the belts you'll be selling.

Thank you for finally acknowledging that USA is the best. I'm glad you finally learned something from YA.

I think the USA is great because we have such great food! Yeah, over 1/2 of us have weight problems, but with such an ample supply of such tasty food it's hard not to be. I got to live in London for a short while, with the exception of Caramel McVittes, Fish & Chips, and Indian Cuisine, I didn't eat much. The food in England I found rather bland, and it was so easy to lose weight. I was even told by Brits (who had been to the States) while I was there that the Americans "have wonderful breakfasts."

The reason I think the US has such great food is because of being such a melting pot. We have immigrants from all over the world who have settled here, bringing recipies and spices. It's such a wonderful variety.

Sadly, one of our greatest things will probably kill a big portion of us.

Neenie, the sooner more of you lot (US of A mongrels) succumb to the greed you thrive upon the better for all of us!

Keep stuffing, keep choking and good riddance!

I most certainly don't think that America is the best Country.
Most Americans are Obese, Rude, Flash, but there is one good point about them................they now have in my view the 2 most apologetic Brits living in their Country Madam Posh and Mr Beckham....and Boys.

Bet you all get fed up with them being in the News and on TV.
Please DO NOT let them out of your Country.

It has its problems like other countries do, but we like it in spite of that! Well, except for those moronic republicans! Can they come live with you?

Too bad you must often espouse contempt for a country that has obviously aided you in your success.

Perhaps, you should spend some time in Iran and see how far that nation takes you for comparison.

Lol. Nice one vicious made me laugh. Although you may go quite a way before you find an American that doesn't actually think you are really praising them.

The word "best" is relative. It is best for many of us. It is not necessarily best when you judge by life expectancy, or gun violence, or how we treat our poor. It's darned good in its system of government (messy and loud though we are... at least we have term limits to help mollify that) and its charity to other countries in need, and its media rocks. Only when you have specific criteria can you say "best" or "worst" about any one country.
