i heard kennedy ( a disgrace to the Irish ) is trying to attach another hate / 'fairness' speech addendum to this troop pullout bill....

the libbys said they would revive it, and i know they are not done trying to shove SHamnesty for illegals down on Americans....
also, hillary wants a million dollars for a HIPPIE museum, to commemorate all of the 'free sex' of the late sixties... SO worthwhile of their time and efforts on Capitol Hill...
what a bunch of dopes are leading this nation... what a shame....

I think they took turns on the folding beds. I didn't see too many people in the picture when ANYONE was speaking. What did that accomplish? I was up all night too. At one point they called a quorum, and nobody was answering. It took about 45 minutes to get through it.
McCain was almost falling asleep during his presentation.
I did get some thorough info on positions by some of the presidential candidates. I guess that is about all that was accomplished.
Bottom line is, Iraq is FUBAR and everyone knows it. There is no solution. If we leave, FUBAR. If we stay FUBAR. It's nothing against the troops, it's IRAQ itself. It's just a matter of who can put the best political spin on it as we leave them to get taken over by some other jackhole and WW3 breaks out.

I was very grateful for the political theater...I was suffering from a bout of insomnia last night and so I tuned into C-Span and I was out like a light in 10 minutes.

Everyone is just running the clock.
Having an all-night session is intended to make it look like they're doing more than just killing time, running the clock against each other.
It's good politics though.
Brave Americans will die. The public will easily forget that time was wasted in this way.

Reid managed to squeeze in a nap, and Pelosi got to hand out across the street with moveon.org. so other than another symbolic sideshow, no, nothing happened..

I don't think anyone cares really. Why should we concern ourselves with the "surrender slumber party". The only thing I want to know is did Robert Byrd remember his sheets? These people are such a joke,and they seem intent on making themselves even more of a joke.
