I am sure that they areso happy that we FREED them! We have a soldier on every street corner watching them and telling them when to go to bed, and questioning them constantly. I am sure that Bush will get a thank you card from them, right?

Bush doesn't allow them to have arms. The troops will shoot them if they do. We have created so much hate in Iraq for all things American that guns put our troops at risk. They had no car bombers when Bush invaded Iraq with his illegal and immoral war. Now they have them daily. Bush has taught them hate if nothing else. They will try to kill us for many generations to come for the evil we have perpetrated on them and their country and their loved ones. God help us.

The Iraqi government implement that law. We don't tuck them in bed but we do give them free medical attention, and ship in tons of free food that is distributed.
Bush should get a thank you card from them but won't as they haven't shown any appreciation for anything any of the coalition or American forces have done. Like shutting down torture cells, used to torture other Iraqi's.
You act as if Iraq was a happy quit peaceful little community, with religious freedom, equal rights for women, clean running water, a supermarket on every corner and great schools for their children to attend.
How immature you are, a joke really.

GO ARMY...HOOAH

I've read over the Iraqi Constitution and it is silent with respects to any right to bear arms, meaning it neither confirms nor denies this right.

It does outlaw militias other than the Iraqi Military forces being formed.

I don't know...do they have the right to car-bomb a crowd of Iraqis?. And I'm sure those victims will thank them for freedom fighting on their behalf until there's no Iraqi left alive.

As far as I could tell when I was over there, they most certainly have the right to own weapons. One of the reasons it's so hard to spot an insurgent over there is because half of the region walks around with assault rifles slung over their shoulders.

By the way, curfews are usually implemented by the Iraqi govt, not American authorities or the military. We really don't tell them how to do anything.

I'm sure the Iraqis also love Al Qaeda blowing themselves up in their coffee shops and markets.

Everyone has the right to bear arms. They don't always have the right to use them.
