as an Englishman who is currently in the USA on business i feel i must ask this.
As most people are aware in the USA alcohol is prohibited, iam wondering if any Americans know of a place i could get tanked up.
I have tried many of the pubs & bars, but all they sell is American lager(shandy) which contains trace alcohol.
Ideally i would like to get Blotto on Strongbow.
Any ideas?

I know, but I'm not telling you. You didn't have your Pimms sent over with you? Not very efficient, for wanker who prides himself on busniess sense.

Running low on points again, I see. Time for a new ID?

Alcohol is banned in the US of A because it is really a secretive Islamic State.

All those rednecks are really Islamic Clerics pretending to participate in drinking sessions, being stupid and dumb comes naturally therefore their behaviour does not need the influence of alcohol.

Suggest you take a trip across the border, to Mexico or Canada where at least you can enjoy some 'real' alcohol and 'real' people. No redneck muppets there!

In some states and counties, there are blue laws regulating the sale of alcohol. For example, some businesses can't sell alcohol on Sundays. And sometimes the government runs "ABC stores." Regardless, alcohol isn't banned in the US. If you're over 21 and willing to drive a little, you'll be able to find some alcohol. I don't know where you are right now, but I could walk down to the grocery store and buy enough booze to get hammered if I wanted.

There's lots of alcohol here in the States. (trust me, I've done the research) You just go to the wrong bars. Not all bars serve alcohol. There are sushi bars, salad bars, monkey bars, etc. One time I saw some English poof at a construction site in New York. He was trying to order a pint of Strongbow from a pile of metal rods. I tried to explain that they were re-bars and that we use them to reinforce concrete. He didn't get it, so I picked up a re-bar and hit him in the head with it. After that he wasn't technically drunk, but he sure acted like he was. He said "Thanks mate" and staggered off to the street and tried to puke in some woman's handbag. Next time look for a saloon, and wear a helmet.

Sorry mate, you can't get tanked up there. Many an Englishman has enjoyed the free flowing alcohol in Australia.

Come down under and enjoy. Strongbow dry, sweet or original :)

You're just not hitting the right places. Look for a microbrewery. A good one will have lots of beer choices (Lager, IPA, Ale) and will list the alcohol content percentages.

Try California wine. I mean, when in Rome . . .

Seriously, prohibition did terrible things to our beer, but the wine has recovered, at least on the west coast. If you really want beer, try Mexican. It's not as good as British, but it's as good as Dutch for the same price as American beer.

That muddy water you are looking for only exists in such uncivilized places as Briton. Her you need to get yourself a bottle of JD old #12.

Alcohol has not been banned in the US since the 1920's, some
places in the south have "blue" laws that restrict when and where you can purchase alcohol but I don't think any outright ban it.

OMG - Sidney you're back !!!!! I was worried that the rednecks may have killed you on your tour of duty of the USA.

Alcohol can be found in the USA but the real stuff has to be imported from Europe. I urge caution with USA home grown alcohol due to it's weak nature, and the genetically mutated crops they distill it from.
