I seems the phrase "God Bless America" became a commercial slogan for politicians, especially the President, to win popular ratings rather than patriotic symbol. What do you think?

It is a saying whose hypocrisy and our way is better than your way attitude makes me cringe. Patriotic blessing? All politicians, including the president use it for is to cover their ignorance in phony religious babel

Oddly enough, "God Bless America" was around a lot longer than any recent use by politicians.
The Philadelphia Flyers' games in the early-to-mid 1970s were not opened with the national anthem. They were opened with Kate Smith singing "God Bless America".

I think that they used the slogan for themselves and not for God. Just like most people that give in a organized fashion because they get acknowledgment for giving kinda like the little signs you buy and they put up all over in a gas station or sticker on their car.

You know there not putting '' In God We Trust'' on money anymore. I really dont know all the detils i was just listening to my friends talking but I THINK that you might be able to get more information if you go to google videos and type in riddles in stone.

I know I am going to get alot of crap for this...but.
The U.S. using divinity for war makes us look as crazy as the Islamic Extremists!
Think about it.
This is an our God is better than your God scenario!!
I think politicians should keep their religious beliefs to themselves!
