and when you consider the huge mess the new prez will inherit, including the wars, record trade deficits, record budget deficits, immigration crisis, record high gas prices, lack of sound energy policy, health care crisis, social security crisis, medicare crisis....etc......

Is it possible that this is what Rove has whispered into Bush's ear...not to worry...lets milk it for as much as we can...and when we leave it looks like dems will win the white house...so lets leave them a huge mess that the GOP can criticize them over and over and over about for the 4 years of their presidency ....that way we can defeat them and get another GOper in the white house after that????

i think stretching it out was always the plan. it keeps haliburton in business, it keeps iraqi oil off the market and prits high for exxon and saudi arabia. i think he needs a sunni coup and a pro-exxon pro-opec dictator in power before the hillary decade begins.

Funny, that sounds like what the Dem's did to him when you look back at it, considering Clinton knew the danger Bin Laden was and chose to ignore them. But I guess that's your idea of keeping us safe, just pretend it's not happening, I'll bet you believe Bush was responsible for 9/11, the Dem's have been in charge of the house for awhile now, what's changed. I guess that doesn't fit into your fairy tale. This isn't only happening to Bush, the whole world has changed since 9/11 and the sooner you libs realize that the faster we can come up with some real solutions, and stop all this blaming your problems on Bush, I specifically remember seeing him on TV asking for bipartisan cooperation on the best way to handle this crisis, and then again when he first started talking with Iraq, everyone was on board until things started getting tough. Your all a bunch of snibbling weasels that can't contribute to society so you sit back and criticize.

Ask the guy himself: "asked if Iraq would be a difficulty after he leaves workplace in January 2009, Bush mentioned: "The conflict on terror would be a difficulty for the subsequent president. Presidents after me would be confronting … an enemy that could want to strike u . s . back."

Actually, I don't think Bush's plan is to stretch it out and leave it for the next person. It will probably end up that way, but i don't think it is the plan.
I think his plan is to find a way out of this quagmire that he can blame on Democrats.

Yes. Bush wants to go down in history as the president who didn't lose Iraq. Even though he did.

All he cares about is $$$ for him and his buddies. He's been bought and paid for.

The guy has screwed up everything he's touched his whole life. Our country isn't any different than one of his baseball teams.

He's always left messes for others to clean up. It used to be his parents, now it's you and I. Thanks to every dumb*&% that voted for him.
