There isn't a wide gap.
Most of the bickering is pure politics.
The policy differences between the two are minor.
Democrats had no problem supporting Clinton when he illegally attacked/invaded serbia, haiti, sudan, iraq, afghanistan, kosavo. All without congressional or UN approval.
Republicans were against most of those.
Now the reverse is happening in Iraq, when regime change was Clintons idea.
Just look at education, NCLB was a Democrats idea, but since Bush pushed it, now the dems hate it.
People shouldn't be amazed that a politicial party will go against an idea, even if it is a good idea, purely based on politics and not wanting to give the other party an edge.
Politics is not about whats best for America, it's about whats best to put thier party in power in Washington.

First of all, I would not remember spending cash on meals a waste. If I had been you, I might take a seat your buddy down and factor out a couple of matters. First of all, you need to be prematurely along with her and inform her that there's not anything incorrect along with her existence. Sure, she made a couple of errors alongside the way in which, however she nonetheless has time to difference and switch her existence round. Second of all, she's ancient sufficient to take accountability for her movements. If she bought concerned in drama, she must uncover a solution to pull herself out of it. Some individuals identical to drama, what are you able to do? Nothing. Secondly, are not making all of it sound bad. She's simply going to pity herself extra. Make it sound empowering. "Look at the whole thing you have been by way of to this point, you are a survivor!" or some thing like that. She does not want a guy to aid her out. "You've performed so good in your possess already, why upload additional pressure?" Sure her vehicle bought repoed, however this fashion she's serving to the atmosphere, she will be able to get a few extra endeavor, and she or he would even make watching for a role a dedication to achieving her target of having a brand new one. Thirdly, you do not need to be so to be had for her. Take care of your self first and essential and while you consider adore it or while she rather, rather demands you (near dying within the household, eviction, and so on) then you'll be able to be there for her. Otherwise, simply lean again and allow her handle herself. People like that do not be taught till they have got been confronted with gigantic difficulty and need to begin from the backside. Give it a shot. If none of this works then I'd say you have rather bought not anything to consider dangerous or responsible or regretful approximately in announcing good-bye to the friendship.

It is a government of the people for the people by the people, so if you don't like it, you only have yourself to blame, get out and vote and support your candidates that hold your values dear also. People will always disagree on some issues, what has kept us together in the past is that we all agreed on the basic principals. I hope that can continue into the future or we may end up destroying ourselves for the radical few.

It's not. It's called "loyal opposition" and it's not an oxymoron. Both Democrats and Republicans are loyal to the country, but disagree about policies. Except Ann Coulter, but she just says that stuff to sell books. "There is no such thing as bad press." as they say in Hollywood, but no real American patriot would mistake her for a republican, or a democrat. People who disagree with you are not necessarily traitors, they just think the government would do better with different policies.

Something I've noticed is the popularity always swings when one party doesn't work the other comes in and stays until the next we have a rather stable gov't though if you go to Italy their are 13 major political parties! Intense huh? Could you even imagine!?

Thank you for pointing out what obviously some people don't seem to understand.
You can still support the Constitution and be loyal to the country, even if you disagree with the current politicians in office.

At one time there was a concept of the "loyal opposition". Though we had disagreements we were all Americans first. We had common goals and values. We agreed to abide by our Constitution. That was before divisive slogans like "love it or leave it."

There's a difference between supporting your country and supporting your government. Administrations come and go, but the principles of the country should remain roughly the same. I like the American principles of liberty and justice, regardless of which administrations uphold or destroy them.

You invision the ideals of the plan, and you realize that even the changes are the way it is designed to uphold those ideals of freedom.
That doesn't mean dissent, is opposing those ideals, it just means you oppose those ideals being stripped from the people.
