Ron Paul is wishy washy on abortion. He refers to himself as personally pro-life and he's said that he's not a fan of Roe, but in the same breath he's also commented that he doesn't think the federal government should get involved. So, if you're pro-choice, you could conceivably rationalize your vote for Paul.

As a libertarian, I am pro-*choice*, but I have and will vote for Ron Paul. He's far too much better than the other candidates to decide against voting for him due to the few disagreements I have with him.

Also, since he believes that the Constitution does not allow the federal government to outlaw abortion, he would not be in a position where he would do anything about abortion.

(Paul, incidentally, is incorrect in his belief that the Constitution allows abortion to be banned at the state and local level. See the ninth amendment in the Bill of Rights. Note that abortion was entirely legal and totally unrestricted at the time the Constitution was written and adopted, and that abortifacient herbs were available OTC at the time.)

It depends.
I have nothing wrong with a person feeling abortion is wrong.
I myself, feel it isn't right, but i do not feel it is in the best interest of society to ban it.
I will never vote for a person who wants to abuse the power of the federal government to force their own morales upon everyone else.
You, nor I, am spiritually responsible for the choices of others, so why is it even an issue?

not being a fan of of roe, but not feeling the government should get involved, isn't "wishy washy", it is common sense.

Y'know .... I've never actually met anyone ever who was pro-abortion.

Pro-abortion means the person thinks abortions are a good idea and that everyone should have one.

Even most of the people I know who are pro-choice are personally against abortion. They just don't think they have the right to make that decision for anyone else.

Ron Paul is a loser no matter what you say. He has less than one percent of the vote in poll after poll. Live with the fact that he is a LOSER.
