Her novels have been regarded highly by literary critics and other men/woment of letters have also applauded her insight and literary merit. She speaks for and on behalf of the innumerable voiceless women who suffer several inequities, tragedies and handicaps in their every walk of day-to-day lives in the hope that some day these women would receive the sunshine of freedom and enjoy the rainbow of liberty.
India and Congress Party claim to be a "secular " and
" democratic " and Bengal Government is run by a party that claims that it is "Communist " and boasts inceassantly of its
" progressive outlook " and yet both these governments have, in actual practise, given a cool goodbye to those principles they so loudly profess in favour of falling prostate at the feet of bigots and fundamentalists...!
How should we, ordinary people , understand and interpret this unashamed volte face ?

Has Edwards ever ran a company? He is highly qualified in telling us what we want the hear but does he needs as much intelligence as Ron Paul to get this done. Does he have it?

I've always wondered about that, because especially in the Consumer Electronics > Music & Music Players section where I hang out, there's a ton of people asking how to get music without paying for it. And there's always people telling how to do it. Can those people get in trouble for that?

Thanks =P

It seems that all the presidential candidates, dem and rep both, have gotten the message, decalring all illegals free citizenship will result in a political death penalty.

OK, it's fair to say that the citizens in general oppose giving illegals free citizenship (or minor hurdles like small fines and license fees).

So, what ideology opposes sealing the borders?
What ideology wants to give illegals citizenship?

Once you figure out who that is, you will have identified who is the real enemy to every American.

I am trying to take my Argentine partner to the U.S. on holiday. He is a Spanish resident. His papers are all in order so it should not be a problem. The problem is he doesn't have an appointment at the U.S. embassy in Madrid until the 11th Jan and we fly on the 14th. On the web site it says upwards of 5 days. Does anyone have experience of this or know if it possible to speed the process up?

If hillary is elected will we be the next socialist country based on her remarks about:

-"shared responsibility?"
-"economic inequality?"
-The california oil company's profits being "forced into a fund?"

Is this the president we want to have, forcing us into a socialist system?

Apparently the actress didn't act properly or made a mistake, so the director went straight to her and slapped her. He claims there was nothing wrong about his actions - he says just like we slap our kids or youngsters if they make a mistake, she also deserved a tight slap for her mistake.

No legal action was taken against him - was this correct of him to do that?

When you point out that the government helps corrupt corporations ,with corporate welfare?

The blame for this falls on both the demarcates and republicans in Washington.

So why is it, that it seems to anger the republicans more?
Or am I wrong?

Which is, who has rule & control over so-called "our money?" Why don't you understand this should be in the hands of the legal citizen majority with shared equal access! Instead of the Fascist Few explioting everyone in every possible way!!! Can you NOT think of what is in the best interest for all legal citizens of USA? Are you so far gone with "Brainwash mentality of chasing a carrot on a stick you can't find logical reasoning! i.e. " well i had to do it this way so it should be fine for everyone else!"

Why not solve the sources of the problem for illegal immigration?

What's the problem? Well, why do people migrate? Generally because the new place offers something, and/or the former place doesn't have something. What do they not have?
Well, thats easy to answer. The US has better sanitation, public education, a stable economy, more jobs that pay much better, laws and regulations that protect the citizens, and so on.

If they had those, now wouldn't there be less illegal immigration?

Give a man a fish, and feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and feed him for a lifetime.
But what good does is it if he can't afford a fishing net or a fishing rod?
Yes, it may be expensive up front to pay for a net (all of them were gold plated at the store), but cheaper in the long run when you don't have your own fish mysteriously disapear. Or your own fishing net itself disappears.

If you still stay with a border wall, then give me a good explanation. Or do you have another solution?

I know that alcohol is part has been part of western culture for milenia and thereby more socially acceptable, but why shouldn't marijuana be available for adults(over 18 or 21)? I actually think alcohol is worse than it, being when I encounter drunk people at bars they like to start fights, get aggressive and act like retards. I was even at a bar the other night and some drunk guy started a fight with a bouncer and stabbed him. While the stoned people I have encountered like to play video games, eat snack food and watch the same movies over and over again. I don't see the point of putting a non-violent stoner in jail. Anyone agreee?

the rolling stones' song "jumping jack flash", seems to me to be referring to the turbulence between ireland and the crown. a "jumping jack" was also a nickname given to a "bouncing betty", an anti-personel mine.(m14-m16). also a "bouncing betty" was a nickname also given to a certain grenade round fired from a grenade launcher. grenade launchers can be used to fire tear gas cannisters for riot control. also the lyrics(maybe)refer to the queen, or the crown, as a toothless bearded hag. have a listen or look up lyrics and then see what you think. i know that the band itself says the lyrics were just words strung together, but then, someone like mick jagger who i think was knighted, wouldn't exactly say publicly that they supported the irish movement would they?
