This is my husband's first re-enlistment. He was told that he had to wait until Dec. to re-enlist because his job was overmanned. His term ends in Feb. We only had 2 choices, we chose Florida. He is up for shore duty and the bases are reservists bases, and so there is no base housing and we have to find a place to live. If we are going to be here for awhile I would like to start my spring semester in college (I did my fall semester I just went back this year) here, but is there anyway to know? How long does it take for them to give us info? My husband says it is a slight chance they may keep him on the boat for awhile. He re-enlisted on Dec 21st. If anyone has any experience with this I would appreciate your help. It feels like we dont know what to be doing right now. Should I start classes or just be preparing to go to Florida?

The terrorist attacked the USA because of our interference in midle east affairs. We interfere to protect our interest: oil.
What if we had no more interest in the region? What if we were energy independent?
People say we are decades away from energy independence.
That simply isn't true.
Tesla Motors produces an electric car that gets the equivalent of 135 mpg. That's 9 to 5 times more efficient than internal combustion engines.

Technology such as this can wean us off international oil supplies.
Oil would lose its luster. Money would stop pouring into the middle east. Madmen would not have great wealth to wage war and spread terror. The USA would have little reason to interfere in middle east domestic affairs.
Why are we not exploring this avenue rather than playing into the hands of the terrorist by waging war in the region?
If little Tesla Motors can obtain 135 mpg, why can't GM & Ford?

As Bill Clinton crisscrosses America defending his wife's candidacy, he's fueling speculation about who'd be in charge should Hillary be elected. Sen. Clinton - the incredible shrinking candidate - seems at times almost a bystander at her husband's campaign, merely playing a somewhat more active role than she did in '92.
At first, his appearances were novel and politically helpful. But then they came to underscore her weakness. It was as if Dennis Thatcher had stood up for Maggie as she faced down the Argentine junta in the Falklands war. Now, Bill's oversized presence on the national stage raises an even more profound question: Is he using his wife's candidacy to seek a third term in office, prohibited him by the 22nd Amendment?

I'm a 25 Bravo with a RIP contract...I have about 4 weeks until I leave.

1. My 2-mile time is at around 14:00-14:30, should I worry about improving my time going in. Do you recommend Intervals?

2. Should I practice walking with a Ruck, then running?

3. Should I shave my head before arriving?

4. As a PFC, what kind of responsibilities will I receive?

Thank You in advance for the answers?

I live in WA state. I got my first ticket on Christmas day! It was 11:30ish at night and I just got off from work. Anyway, the police car was on the very right lane of I-5 and I was on the very left, he was probably going about 70mph and I never passed him, I think I was going about his speed too. He then slowed down like way below 60, but I kept my speed at 60 while passing him, then he went behind me and pulled me over. He said he can see me speeding even when I'm behind him. Can I go to court and tell the judge that the police was actually speeding too? And that I never passed him? And he pulled me over when I was already going 60mph? Or there is no point and I should just pay the ticket???

Hillary Clinton immediately responded to the assasination by calling for an international investigation into her death. She also reminded Americans that Musharif should be held at arms length due to his inefficiency at removing the Taliban from Pakistan.

Clinton (with the help of CNN) went on to also remind Americans that Bush has issued a blank check to Musharif and has not instituted any measures for the loyalty or stability of Pakistan.

Huckabee on the other hand, used Bhutto's death as a platform to talk about the "dangers of illegal immigration".... Is he for real???

Meanwhile Bush has told CNN (via his press agent) that he is simply staying out of it... (which seems wise but ignores the fact that he started it).

Will this event point out to voters that Republicans are not ready to respond when the unexpected occurs?

Here is another chance for you to bash and take shots at Venom before the end of the year. It is my appreciation for letting me pursue my psychological analysis of far-left liberals. You have done wonders on my research. Thanks for letting me play you.

...but I digress...what I really like to know is what is your take on this message I got from 'Montee'

Message: I hereby declare war on all Republicunts and rightwing braindead bitches. Oh yes, you're going down....You're going down HARD. I'm gonna see to it personally. No matter what it takes. No matter how long it takes.
Count on it.
END OF MESSAGE

1st. Remember when everyone laughed at Dr. Evil for demanding 1 Million Dollars. Okay that is one of these moments.
2. Didn't anyone learn with Anne Coulter...that she sells books on provocation. Man...you liberals take the bait so easy.

Anyway, have at it.....Give me your best shot. I can take it.
Ta ta.

This is Venom

Signing off.

A friend spent much of her Church-school childhood in terror of getting another log on the fire of Hell. Now we're alarmed about terrorists who kill far fewer people than die on the roads - while our politicians avoid laws that would inconvenience motorists or upset car makers, and declare we must protect the economy while avoiding actions that might prevent climate change that threatens life on Earth. What price homo sapiens?

I made a mistake 2 years ago. I joined the military with out being fully informed and bailed out in bootcamp. I LIED and said I was nuts to get out. The discharge was honorable code 2C. I am one class away from my AA degree in nursing. I have had a delay in completing my practical nursing program. Since then I have began to question my mistake and decision to leave the military more now than ever before. I will have an opportunity to complete my practical nursing program. I have a great life and significant other but question whether or not I should try to go back into the military. I was told by army recruiters that my chances are very good of getting back in with my education and no history of criminal or mental ailments. What should I do?

We've tried camera's, we've tried calling the police, we've tried talking to his parents. He keeps doing it. We can't catch him in the act so we don't have proof. The video at night is not good enough. What can I do to stop this?

It's been happening for a long time and he strikes randomly. He does it at night or in the morning time. No witnesses. My sister wakes up to go to work and finds that her car is keyed, tires slashed, windows smashed, or lights smashed.

Please help!

I don't want my sister to hurt, worry and feel unsafe. It is also costing her money for repairs.
