Nothing better than a thinly veiled question from someone who is anti-firearm.Yes,the last gun I bought was American made. And I gave my son an American made handgun for his 21st birthday. And I do feel better in supporting a fellow countryman who is also working to support his family. If I expect someone to use my labors;then I should also be willing to use theirs.
This country was founded by those who were willing to use their guns to overthrow a tyrannical government.Evidently just complaining about their situation and asking for the right to self-govern didn't work out too well.Whatever my personal position on the right to own my own guns is;that doesn't mean I am not disturbed by the crimes committed by people using guns. That part of our culture has been expanding since we have decided not to seriously punish those criminals who have no regard for the law.

Not enough, for sure. It is hard to buy American even in guns, though. Some of the best historical copies are made in Italy, the M9 the military uses is Italian (but made in USA), and the best scopes are of German and Japanese manufacture. Many companies that sound American are owned by foreign interests. Still, if one pays attention, one can find a suitable American made gun to make one's childrens' Christmas the best ever.
