By mistake when I took my diamond into be serviced, I noticed the next morning it was foggy. I took it back to the jeweler to show him and he noticed it too. He was not the one who serviced the ring, but one of his workers. He took his loop and studied the diamond, which he knew quite well from previous work done on my ring, and noticed that the corner of my 2 carat trillion had been chipped. He said he would make it perfect again, but I wouldnt have it for the holidays. He called me today and said the diamond could not be repaired back to its glory and that I needed to come in and sit down with him to decided what we need to do. What should i expect from him? I didnt buy the diamond from him, just the setting. I do have insurance on the diamond, should I contact my insurance agent? What about the sentimental value of my original diamond, doesnt that count? Help please!
p.s.
this is a high end one owner store.

I complain about it every election year. This election is the worst. The candidates just spent two years campaining in Iowa. I live in Nebraska. Not one will ever set foot here. Our primary is in May. It is apt to be pretty well settled by then. Why should we let Iowa and New Hampshire decide the choices for the rest of us.

My husband and I have thought long and hard about him joining the army reserves, and he wants to as a service to his country. We currently have 2 children. i just found out today that I am expecting a third child. Will this matter? I know in the Army, not reserve it says not more than 2 children, is it different for reservists? Thanks All. God Bless.

Would you vote for a man from congress, to be the next president of the U.S.A. , or at least be interested in learning about a congressman that...

Has never voted to raise taxes.
Has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
Has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
Has never voted to raise congressional pay.
Has never taken a government-paid junket.
Has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

Has voted against the Patriot Act.
Has voted against regulating the Internet.
Has voted against the Iraq war.

Does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
Returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

"This man" introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Does this individual sound the least bit interesting to you ? Do you know who this man is ???...Do you want to know ???

I don't know how many of you are old enough to remember. But shortly after Bill took office, she came up with this outragous health plan. It showed her daring and her ignorance.

...although we have nothing to fight over such as kids, property, money, etc? We were only married a couple of months. If it IS considered contested then I have no choice but to hire a lawyer. But if there is nothing to dispute, then can I be granted a divorce anyway? I never did anything to him. I never cheated or anything. He assaulted me, and now I'm trying to divorce him.

"Silly liberal" Hillary is leading the investigatory charge this time.... http://www.yahoo.com/s/771118 ....Liberals have no common sense. That is why they question EVERYTHING. Common sense tells people to think in a much different way. I`m sure you`ll all agree.

The earth started a cool period about 1,000 years ago. Why do Dems call us getting back to normal "global warming"?

The world is far better off at these temperatures than we were centuries ago.

A typical American can hardly earn enough to pay for his/her family's healthcare, public education for the kids, and social security for retirement.

Doesn't adding 15 million illegals just make the situation even worse?

I got an anonymous phone call that my 21 y/o son wanted to borrow $50 to buy a "half pound" that he could "push".

I know I'm going to sound very naive here but that's okay because I am. I think they are talking marijuana. Right away I don't know nothing about any street drugs. 47 years old and never touched a thing that wasn't prescription in my name.

How much does a half pound cost on the street if you are buying to sell? If he's $50 short, how much does he have? Is the price of this junk that steady nationwide?

I have to find a way to help him. He has been dabbling since he was 14, has tried crack and heroin but seems to prefer weed. Can't find a job and has been caught 3 times driving on a suspended license. Has cost me close to $20,000 over the last 3 years.

Please only answer if you are a Democrat

Since it is sooooo evident that the war in Iraq is such a big mistake, what do you propose the U.S. do when we are made aware of atrocities such as Saddam committed?
Are his atrocities not to be compared to Hitler's?
I understand that the magnitude is different, but he has killed millions as Hitler did, and invaded countries in an attempt to take it over.
Please clarify the proper action to take if any.
Oh, and answer the question with an ANSWER...not a statement of what the Republicans did wrong or with another question...that would be self defeating.

My wifes car was broken into, her purse, camera, and sunglasses were stolen. They eventually caught the guy he even put over $1,000 on our credit cards. When he got caught they found a number of purses, firearms, and drugs in the car. Well we found out he is a gang member and my wife has been subpoenaed to testify against him, they are telling my wife she has to do it. I told her to plead the 5th and they told her she couldnt only the prosecuted can. My wife cries at night about this, we cannot afford an attorney. Thanks in advance

It sure seems so and the Dems seem happy to comply with the "donations" from the rich.

"During the 2005-2006 election cycle, Schumer helped Democrats raise $385,400 from private equity managers, far more than they gave to Republicans."

Schumer isn't going to raise taxes on the rich people who are helping Dems get elected! Right?

What is your opinion of the following government spending...afterall this is YOUR $ (if you pay taxes)

It costs approx $33,000 to keep an inmate in State prison.

It costs approx $110,000 to keep a sex predator in a "treatment facility"

With the number of criminals/sex offenders...Do the math!

How do we resolve this issue?
