I don't care in the sense that they have a misguided view of how the USA is. It irks me to no end that some nations and even some Citizens of the USA blame our nation as a whole for all that is wrong with the world;

If I stereotyped other people in other nations based on the actions of a nations government, I would be here all day bashing the world.

I guess I really don't care what other people think.

I care to some degree. While it wouldn't hurt fixing America's image to the world and cleaning up the mess Bush and his regime have made, there's really nothing you can do about the way other nations feel about you or your country.

I think America get's the most criticism and attention becuase it's the 'Big Dog' in the big game of global politics.

Kind of like a game of Monopoly, the player who has the upper hand and most money is the one who get's verbally abused and criticised by other the other players.

Not at all. Nobody bats an eye when other countries look out for number one. The U.S. would do well to start taking care of its own and quit worrying about taking care of everyone else - both people around the world and the illegals who've invaded our country.

I really don't give a rat's @$$ about what the French or any other imbeciles think of this country.
Just wait until they get attacked by Islamo-fascists the next time and see why they scream that we didn't protect them.
It matters little what world opinion is of the United States. Just withdraw our funding of the United Nations and stop sending out foreign aid, and then see who bitches about us.
While we're at it, stop funding their newspapers, too.

Depends on the country. We know we're doing something right if certain country are mad at us.

It completely depends on the issue/subject being discussed.

Sometimes, I feel they are dead wrong. Often, I am embarrassed.
I wish I could elaborate more... but, like I said, it's on a case-by-case basis with me.

MEXICO, however.... I don't give a flying $#it WHAT they think or say.

Let them pit the value of their assessment against Tony Blair's, who said [I paraphrase, here]:

The truest measure of a nation's success is simply comparing the number of people who wish to enter, to the number who wish to leave.
