The earth started a cool period about 1,000 years ago. Why do Dems call us getting back to normal "global warming"?

The world is far better off at these temperatures than we were centuries ago.

Funny what people believe - to such an extent that they claim the debate is over.

Anyone here ought to be able to compute what a fantastic volume of water (let alone the less dense ice pack) would need to be dumped into the seas to raise them by 25 feet.

But more fundamentally, the faith in a trace gas increasing by trace amounts [via man's actions] being able to swamp out other climate forces (water vapor, the sun, errors in crappy instruments...) is what we ought to fear. It's a sign of how irrational a good deal of this planet's inhabitants have become.

Its scientists not Democrats. When will republicans stop saying that its democrats who have made global warming and realize its the majority of the scientific world who is calling out global warming. Just because you are to obtuse and busy disagreeing with democrats to understand that doesn't mean it isn't happening.

Do you realize that global warming is not an American issue but a worldwide issue?

Do you imagine that a US political party irrelevant for the rest of the world fooled the best Japanese, German, Indian, Swedish and Chinese scientists? yes? then you need help.

Republicans have recently had to admit that global warming is reality. It is a scientific fact. We emit greenhouse gases. It isn't for debate. It is reality.
