No. They were elected on the "we'll get us out of Iraq" platform, and it took them I think three months to even initiate a non-binding resolution. They have still failed to play the trump card by not passing any funding for it, which is well within their capabilities.
Think about this: Nancy Pelosi had her supporters (yes, supporters) protesting against her just two months after taking office.

No. Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have proven themselves grossly incompetent. Every time they open their mouths, it helps Republican candidates. Most people aren't stupid enough to buy into the "tax cuts for the rich" class warfare rhetoric. Most Americans recognize that threats from terrorists and nations run by mentally imbalanced leaders (ex: North Korea, Iran) are a more critical issue than global warming (specifically the theory that this is primarily man-made). Republican turnout will be very high to keep incompetent lightweights like Hillary, Johnny boy and Obama out of the White House. Dems are likely less scared of the Republican front runners as many of them are actually competent with proven leadership skills.

No chance, they have failed in every way possible to live up to the promises they made to get into office.
Harry Reid is in jeopardy of getting the boot in favor of Chris Dodd because he has done such a terrible job.
Harry Reid criticized one of the previous Republican majority leaders, who's name slips my mind right now, for his son being a lobbyist.
Meanwhile, since he has become majority leader, all three of his sons have become lobbyist for the Nevada mining industry.
They promised earmark reform and yet every bill they have sent to Bush has been loaded with pork they have stuck in.
They talked about all this legislation they were going to push through in their first one hundred hours in charge and nothing materialized.
Nancy Pelosi gave a big thumbs to an annual street party held in San Fransisco, even though she was shown video of gay men having sex in the street in front of children. While the Republican party has its faults, these people are morally bankrupt.
The are the ultimate hypocrites. We at least tell you we are going to screw you before we do it. The do it in the dark and when nobody is looking.

The democratic base, justifiably, is disgusted with the dems kowtowing to Bush. They have some hard times ahead.

No. The Democrats screwed up when we elected them to impeach Bush, they will lose seats because they did not even table the issue. Actually that is great, because we will elect a Democrat for president in 2008, one who is bi-partisan and will be trusted on both sides of the aisle.

Not really. They've been rather impotent when it comes to achieving anything they set out to do. They were afraid to cut funding to the war. They couldn't cut spending. They couldn't really do anything.
That said, most people have a two party mindset. They might gain a few seats from sheer loathing of Bush. lol.

Absolutely not. The Democrat led 110th congress has failed in every goal it has set and the best they can do to shift blame for their shortcomings is to blame the Republican President.
