Sure hose b, just contact the Department of Homeland Security and ask for the ICE duty agent. They'll hook you right up.

He can't legally join the Armed Services without a legal status, either as a citizen or a documented immigrant.

I would suggest he contact an immigration attorney and seek advice on how to attain a legal status. I would think if he has no criminal record and has been here since age 6 he could get a legal status without too much difficulty, but it might involve some fees.

Once he has a legal status he could enlist in the Armed Forces if he is otherwise qualified. Many legal immigrants have enlisted and quite a few have earned their citizenship while in uniform.

You cant be an unlawful immigrant and connect the army. you are going to be able to desire to initiate the immigration technique in the previous you could enlist. you are going to be able to desire to be a united statescitizen to alter right into a commissioned officer.

Tell your friend to call the local recruiting office of whatever branch you want to join and ask them. They will let you know what you need to do to get in.

And yes it will be easier to get your "papers" once you have completed your initial training and are assigned to a unit.

If you ready to go to Iraq straight away,I dont think that should be a problem.Give it a try but if you are so desperate to join Army, I think the best place will be your home country only if you are trying to go to army to legalise yourself but think of the risk.Good luck
