A bachelor’s degree in history from Yale in 1968, then served as an F-102 fighter pilot in the Texas Air National Guard. Master of Business Administration from Harvard 1975.

He has been ran a business, a sports team, and was Governor of one of the most diverse states in the country before becoming President.

In college his grades were better than KERRY or Gore's.
(and that was while he was DRUNK and on COKE--supposedly.)

Here is some of the books he read---for pleasure this year
________________
American Prometheus by Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin (a biography of Robert Oppenheimer, an inventor of the atomic bomb)

Clemente: The Passion and Grace of Baseball's Last Hero by David Maraniss (about the late all-star Pittsburgh Pirates right fielder)

Lincoln: A Life of Purpose and Power by Richard Carwardine

Lincoln's Greatest Speech: The Second Inaugural by Ronald C. White Jr.

Mao: The Unknown Story by Jung Chang
-
Those are not all of his list either.

My daughter is 17 and rides bulls on the APRA and with other local rodeo associations here in Pa. We have petitioned the High School Rodeo to allow her to ride there, but because they are not associated with High school, they are not covered under Title IX. At least, we don't think so. We are required to have passing grades and we are required to get a signature from our principle to allow kids to ride in High School Rodeo, but both the High School and Little Britches rodeo associations are refusing to allow girls to ride. Next Sept. my daughter will be 18 and plans to get her PRCA and her PBR challenger card in Jan. of 2009. I don't understand why they would not want to give girls the same opportunities as boys. I feel its a great discrimination case, but unfortunately we can't afford to finance a lawyer to take the case. My daughter wants to ride bulls in College and Title Ix will give her that chance, but High school rodeo doesn't seem to care. Any help would be appreciated.

If so, then people should be wary that any major terrorist or other event around the election that would give Bush the ability to postpone the election is probably staged by our own government. SO PLEASE DO NOT BELIEVE IT AND DO NOT LET BUSH DECLARE MARTIAL LAW AND BECOME A DICTATOR!

I received a letter in the mail today with a check in the amt of $3,656.50. I called the bank and found that this check is fraudulent. I did not take it to the bank for fear of getting in trouble for this check. It is pretty sad that we american's receive checks from other countries and when they bounce, we are the ones to get into trouble for it. Why is this? We don't make the checks. Why don't our government go after the people who does? This check was for a ATM Mega Bonanza and the bank was Citibank in Canada. The agent is Kathy Roberts 20Dawson Ave, Ste.405, Orangeville, ON. The check was from Lehman Brothers. I believe it is time for our government to do something about this.

My social security card is old, worn out, and I think there's a coffee stain on it. Is it possible to get a new one and then get it laminated to protect it from the elements? If so, where do I do this, and how much would it cost?

Why is there so much focus on the Presidential election when the Congress makes it SO difficult for the President to get anything accomplished?
Don't you think we need to focus on and be more careful who we elect as our LOCAL and STATE leaders? Aren't these the people who eventually end up in Washington?
Aren't most issues best resolved at the "grass roots" level?
Might we also make sure our children receive the best of education so our "future leaders" have a leg up?

The person at the top is not a dictator in a democracy, right?

my brother was dog setting for me when i was out of town. he let my dog out to do his duty and the city (or small town police) pick him up. the thing is the court date they have scheduled is not going to work out because i plan on movie 600 miles away to a new job witch will not let me off for the time to go all the way back to take care of it and city hall refuses to schedule a earlier date. so the question is what will or can happen if i just and say f$@% it. is there a statue of limitations on such a thing if so how long. oh and my bro's is broke and would never be abile to take responsibilaty

Recently received a "minute entry" from a default hearing for my case. Judgment was denied for the following reason: 'Plaintiff's complaint fails to state a claim upon which relief can be granted.'

What does that mean?

This is a very general term to me and as far as I'm concerned a claim upon which relief can be granted was made and proven in the wording of the pleading for damages.
