Okay i got my license suspended for 30 days for SPEEDING 1-14 MPH OVER SPEED LIMIT by the Maine Judicial Branch Violations Bureau. The notice doesn't say when i did this. I got a ticket for speeding like a little over a month ago but i paid that off, so why would i get my license suspended for speeding?

just guessing you have had more then one ticket or you are a minor. you don't pay off tickets and they then go away. so i am now willing to bet you are a minor have had your license less then 2 years and Maine probably has a graduated type of licensing system. check with the DMV they can probably tell you why it's suspended. i would think you got a notice maybe you just didn't read it.

good luck

Chances are there is no recors that you paid the fine. You should call the court and find out why your licesnse is suspended. There is a chance it could be a clerical error.

How should we know? Call them. There should be a phone number on the letter they sent you. If not, look them up on the web.

Wow, thats really dumb. I got pulled over for doing 120 in a 65mph zone, all i got was one hell of a fine.

Paying a fine doesn't mean that you're innocent - if the state determines that your violation requires further punishment than a fine, they are free to do so. When you paid the fine, you likely checked a box that stated that paying the fine was the same as a guilty plea, and you therefore accept any punishment meted out.

Though I don't know Maine law, it seems odd that you'd get a suspension for that offense, though - did you have a lot of previous tickets? If so, it was likely an accumulation of points and this offense pushed you over the top.
