What are things I should stay away from on a base? As in, I've read and heard alot about the "rumor mills"...as a rule of thumb, are these certain people or are they just anyone? Also I've read that once the guys are gone, that lots of wives cheat, blah blah blah, and I don't want stuff being spread about me that isn't true. I know this isn't every wife, and I'm not saying that, just wanting to know what groups to stay away from. Hope this makes sense, haven't slept all night! Thanks!

A U.S. Army helicopter went down south of Baghdad Thursday, injuring four of the nine soldiers aboard, while five U.S. troops died in separate attacks in Baghdad. Also, in the deadliest blow to Britain since November, four British soldiers and a Kuwaiti interpreter were killed in an ambush in southern Iraq, the British military said.

I dont know about in the Royal Marines, but in the US Marines ina situation like that you are to give your name rank and serial number and then STFU and wait to be rescued. You are supposed to minimize the amount of pictures taken of you (such as not going on national tv and admitting that Iran is correct adn then talking about how they treat prisoners so much ebtter than the US) and then smilling and coming home with goody bags, writing letters to thier families saying how much they love Iran...

Name. Rank. Serial Number. That is all.. I mean dont these peaple go through the mock POW training like in the US?
In the United States this could be reason for courtmarshal, how do all you Roayl Marines or US marines feel about the fact tha they went with them, and then aided Ahmadenijahd in a successfull propaganda campaign.
I mean they spoke out against their allies and their country all in the same day, on an enemys nation television broadcast. Astounding.

My AFQT is a 48 (for active Army).. i've heard its the national average, but can you still get good jobs? I'm really disappointed at my score, but if it really wont make much of a difference to retake it then i just want to get on to the processing part. *Only serious answers please.. i dont care who thinks the Army is dumb, etc.

I've been going back from 2003 and looking for one military person or polical person who warned about insurrgents being a factor we need to address. NOT ONE! All i am getting is Liberals, Republicans, and Democrats secong guessing what we should have done. I really need a report or piece of media who warned the administration to plan for insurrgents coming in from other countries.

Anti-Iranian sentiment has been stepped up several notches, in the mainstream media. Now, common roadside bomb attacks are being linked with Iran. I think this is an indication that we are going to attack Iran soon.

If you did, would you be considered a terrorist. Remember before you answer that 9/11 was bin ladens doing and Sadamn was originally accused of wmds until none were found and then he was labeled a brutal dictator to justify invading Iraq.

since 9/11, it seems to me that the democrats have done nothing but fall into every trap the i-f's set for them...9/11, blame bush...war in afghanistan, blame bush...war in iraq, blame bush... cartoons in denmark, blame bush... train bombings in spain, blame bush... subway bombings in london, blame bush...suspicious imams on planes, blame bush...british sailors captured in iraqi water, blame bush...on and on it goes and with every new incident, the democrats are right there to give support and understanding to the terrorists. why, bela pelosi went so far as to visit the enemy in order to gain favor with them...so, are the democrats really traitors, or are they so stupid they might as well be...which is it?...

We went in with about one third of the troops recommended by out top Generals-we went in basically by ourselves. We disbanded the military (Iraqi)-We can't even control our own borders-if the country surrounding Iraq did not like us before -they like us even less. I lean more to being a conservative-but our country is being run by a handfull of people and they are scary.-We are constantly blaming Iran and Syria-a hint to Bush-Cheney and Rove-they don't like us. They have left a real mess for our next Pres.

I am a proud soldier of the U.S. Army. Even though I am a Christian man and Bush is my commander and chief, I believe he has greatly destroyed the United State's reputation and support from many of our allies. It will take the United States decades to rebuild and repay the trillions of dollars that the Bush administration has created from the Iraq war.

I still love America and I am willing to put my life on the line to protect this country in harms way for every deserving American citizen. However, I am sad that my President misguided us. Am I wrong to hate Bush?
