To all,
Who here thinks that Iran was wrong to hold the British sailors captive? I believe they were wrong? Whoever has worn an army uniform in any country should know that Iran is dishonered by there foolish act. The British did not stray in Irainian territory they were in Iraqi waters. And the way Iran reacted when they were in the waters.. like whoo phycosss. Really the only way Iran could actually defeat the Brits is 10 men on one unarmed Brit. So who do you think is right and who is wrong in this act? the iran ppl or the one and only Great Britian?

In US culture, the "dude" has to take the girl out, in his car, to "get laid".

In Iraq, how do the rescourceful Americans get around the problem??

Do they try to pick up Iraqi girls in their Militay Humvees?

Do they try to dodge the curfew in much the same way that a girl's father might impose a cerfew??

What type of sexual adventures are the soldiers having over there?? Then they come back here and act like all this time they were fighting a war, or somthing like that.

I bet when the Iraqi girls' brother punches the US soldier in the face for "violating her honor" he probably tells people that he got injured fighting an insurgent.

Sometimes you gotta wonder what those crazy kids are doing in that giant sand box over there.

I bet they have little BBQ parties on the beach, with beer, and "Babes", but you never hear about it because its all "Black Ops".

They act like there is a war, but I bet they are just trying to hide all their screwing around over there.

Dear all,
Do you believe that Iran was wrong to hold the Brits? I believe they did its so dishonorable torward the country and I believe that it was stupid and they were in Iraqi waters not Iranian waters and even if they were (THEY WEREN'T) the Iranian forces suprised them and pointed weapons at them, like thats kinda phycopathic if ya know what I mean. So who do you think is right? The iran ppl or Great Britian?

Think about it, they surrendered without a fight, they did anything their Iranian captors told them to do, and they gave Iran a Propaganda Victory by giving in so easily. Why does Britain even bother to send troops to Iraq and into these waters if they have no backbones? It seems to me they would be better off following the likes of Germany or France and just give up, rather than half-heartedly showing a weak display of force in the Middle East. What do you think?

How can you be so sure that the British sailors did n't enter Iranian waters? I don't know if they did and i don't know if they did n't.
Its not as though Britain have a reputation for being honest, so how can you take what they tell you at face value. i'm not saying Iran passed their truth lessons either.
But it seems as though you are very trusting?

What would happen if Hitler and Nazi Germany came through a hole in time and invade the U.S. in full force? Could they surprise us on the West Coast and take out our airbases and army bases with their outdated Luftwaffe? What if they seized them and used our own technology against us? What if they tried to convince racist Americans to join their force and fight against each other? Etc., etc....would they stand a chance given our military is over in Iraq/Afhghanistan?

Bring our troops home A.S.A.P and let nature take it's course in the middle east, and don't any FOOLS come on here and tell me that we can't.
I say it's time to turn the tables and take the lead and let these people in the middle east know that we mean buisness, either they get their finger's out and get their $h1t together, or they can BURN IN HE11. End of Story.????????????????????

N.Korea and Iran are the evils ones not the U.S and Isreal. If the Germans invented the A bomb before the Americans. The war would have been a billion times worse. But people think the Nazis are good and America is bad and Isreal. America and Isreal have been at alot of wars but that is becuse they care unlike Eruope. KInd of weird that one of the sailors said the following becuase how could he not recognize his fellow soldiers voice?

"We had a blindfold and plastic cuffs, hands behind our backs, heads against the wall. ... There were weapons cocking," Tindell told British Broadcasting Corp. radio. "Someone said, I quote: 'Lads, lads, I think we're going to get executed.' ... Someone was sick and as far as I was concerned he had just had his throat cut."

Who was this mysterious someone and how come that someone did not say I thought someome was sick and had his cut throat? Sounds like some bs to me. Were they going to cut throats or shoot? Which one is it? Get your stories straight laddies.

I personally don't believe it. I do believe that the Persians were trying to prove a point but bound? Yeah umm RRRight.. I guess under the right kind of persuation anyone can be made to say anything about anyone. Maybe my disbeliefe comes from being lied to by the american gov about Iraq and etc.

I keep seeing these staff soldiers that have been in for over 10 years that havent had to go the middle east or Kosovo once. How do they pull this off? I am talking mainly about the Army National Guard,but I am sure that this happens in other branches of the services also. I have went to Iraq once and probably will have to go back again. Why have all these other people been able to avoid this?
