Germany was in a depression after the defeat in WWI. They had to pay huge war dedts and the economy was failing by the approach of WWII. Hitler was a charasmatic leader who unified the populance while blaming the Jews for Germany's bad financial woes. Germany's involvement in WWII started with diplomatic approaches to retreive some territorries lost in WWI. The Nazi Party, headed by Hitler, a winner of the Iron Cross in WWI, decided to take the country to war to unify Europe. Under an Aryan Nation of course, racism was always an underlying motive in the Nazi Party.

They tried to unify Europe against the growing threat in Russia which they felt would overwhelm Europe in time.
People never hear the origins of the Germanic attempts to use diplomacy to achieve their aims.
Their mistakes, their cruelty, their genocidal attitude toward Jews I am not questioning, and have their place, but the blind attempt to take real people or groups and totally villify or sanctify them is just silly.
They were right, but it took a few decades for them to succeed, and they had to fail personally in the process.
I'm glad of it. Yet, I dislike the utterly foolish attempt to rewrite history and villify real villains even more so that you blind yourselves to the rest of the facts.
Kind of silly.
Don't listen to the "Are you stupid that you don't know!" crowd. They don't want to bother. They just want points off putting others down rather than having anything to share. Make a list of key words as you search and try different combinations. Good luck.

Germany didnt get "involved" in WW2, they started it along with Italy, actually Italy was forced to join the axis or Hitler would have walked all over them. Christ, pick up a book.
