According to the Pakistani government and citizenry, Pakistan has a rightful and just claim to Kashmir because the majority of the people in Kashmir are Muslims, right???

Well, the Pakistani government is forgetting that India has the world's second largest Muslim population (although they comprise only 12% of the Indian population - 83% being hindu). I think there are approximately 150 million Muslims who constitute India's Muslim minority.

My solution is this:
We can say to Pakistan that we will ONLY relinquish control of Kashmir to yourselves, IF YOU TAKE ALL INDIA'S MUSLIMS, ALONG WITH KASHMIR AND GRANT THEM CITIZENSHIP OF PAKISTAN!!!

I don't mean to sound heartless and I apologise if I have caused any offence. But the purpose of 1947 partition was so that India can become a Muslim free zone.

Do you agree with me??? Ain't I right??? Pakistan should open its borders to India's Muslims and only then get kashmir?

As in, against the Geneva Convention? Most people throughout history have hired them to fight wars. Why not just give foreigners uniforms and pay them to serve? Why must we only use American soldiers?

If an AK-47 rifle is more powerful, accurate, and efficient how come we still use an M16 over the AK?

AK's are very powerful and accurate... you could bury them in the sand come back a year later pull it out and start shooting... M16's constantly need cleaning, and maintanance so how come we still use it...

I was in the military until i was accused of assaulting 2 grown
men . After i lay my life on the line i get setup so that they can kick me out because they didn't like me or the fact that i got married. What is even worse is that i was the one assaulted, file a police report and went to the hospital n yet the charges were turned on me. It bothers me so much because if something worse would of happen they would of gotten away with it 2. As a matter of fact, some did get away with a sex assault charge in the unit. Now that i am a civilian the VA is worthless. I continiously submit paperwork for justice and change of my discharge. What gets 2 me is that if i really assaulted 2 male seargents y i got a general under honorable condition, 30 dys jail time when the real charge is a couple years in jail and dishonorable discharge...i was sent home and treated like a baby, told not to tell no one. Set up huh... ?
The injustice is eating me inside with hatred. Any advice ?.....

I'm planning to join the Navy in about a year or so, but right now i'm trying to convince my mom to give me her blessing. I know it's my decision but I'd really like my mom's support on this. I want to ask you guys who have military experience that it looks good on the resume if you served? I plan to be an engineer (probably aerospace or industrial, not sure which quite yet) and I wanted to know if military experience will benefit. Can you guys give me personal stories on how it helped you in your career also? Thank you

Or is the bravery under fire that we associate with the British army and navy just a value of the past? Just spoke to several of my Brit friends and there is a big debate going on over there. Many are disappointed that the sailors were so willing to "thank" their captors and confess to blame. These young people who volunteer for the military should think long and hard about the full nature of their committment. I was in the military and we learned name, rank and serial number if captured. True, no one can say with certainty what they would do under durress; however, watching these sailors laughing and thanking Amadinajad (sp) after they were let go made me sick. Any thoughts?

In US culture, the "dude" has to take the girl out, in his car, to "get laid".

In Iraq, how do the rescourceful Americans get around the problem??

Do they try to pick up Iraqi girls in their Militay Humvees?

Do they try to dodge the curfew in much the same way that a girl's father might impose a cerfew??

What type of sexual adventures are the soldiers having over there?? Then they come back here and act like all this time they were fighting a war, or somthing like that.

I bet when the Iraqi girls' brother punches the US soldier in the face for "violating her honor" he probably tells people that he got injured fighting an insurgent.

Sometimes you gotta wonder what those crazy kids are doing in that giant sand box over there.

I bet they have little BBQ parties on the beach, with beer, and "Babes", but you never hear about it because its all "Black Ops".

They act like there is a war, but I bet they are just trying to hide all their screwing around over there.

I am an Army wife, my husband is deployed.. He has been gone 6 months, since we had a family emergency come up in December and he came home, he will not be home for 6 more months. I have done real well, until now.. I looked to see how long I had and I am only half way.. It has broke my heart, I have cried cried cried.. I cant seem to find the ways to stay strong anymore, I give so much honest advice to others and it helps them. But I have none of my own. I have hobbies, keep busy, and try to think the best.. But I am missing so much, and cring so much.. I keep goingback to what I miss instead of what I can look forward to.. My biggest one is I moved home while he was over there, and there is no sign of him hear, no smell of him either.. Is this something we all will go through? Can and will it get better in the days gone past, will this make me stronger for the next deployment, and is moving the best thing to do? Just to let you all know I sure miss the sound of dogtags the most.
