The 1LT of My Lai Massacre Vietnam (1968) history is about 63 years old now and resides in the area of Columbus, GA. Ft. Jackson is in the same area. Last I read he is the owner of a local jewelry store.

The real ones that should have been convicted of crimes are Jane Fonda. Tom Hayden and John Jerry. Shows you what has happened to this country. Hayden & Kerry are politicians and Fonda is a washed up actress all receiving their initial fame for their treasonest acts committed during the Vietnam War.

Columbus, GA is no where near Ft. Jackson. You're thinking Columbus, SC.... which is the city Jackson is in.

Columbus, GA is near Ft. Benning.

Hollis summed it up correctly. Lt Calley was not at top of command. He was doing what every GOOD soldier does , Follows orders

I hope he is well and happy. In that horrible war, I can only imagine the fear they felt, not knowing who was armed and ready to kill them and that meant, not only armed men, but women as well. Just how many people can say what they would do. God bless our military.

Who cares? He should still be in prison or have been put to death like the Nazis who claimed to be "just following orders". He brought dishonor on all Vietnam vets.
