The navy, army, marines, or air force? Excluding all nuclear weapons and hydrogen bombs. Be honest as to who you think would win, dont just pick your favorite branch. List them in order as well, first, second, third and fourth.

I have the feeling that too many people in this country are too "warlike". Glorify the military and love to send troops to fights in their interventionist wars. USA has become somewhat like Ancient Sparta, Kaiser's Germany [before Hitler], Imperial Britain and the once "mighty" Soviet Union. Meanwhile the budget is suffering huge deficits, the country doesn't seem "safe" and we fear the "terrorists". What do you think, folks?

what do others feel should be done? I feel this is an act of war and hope that the British do the right thing and retaliate. Or have the Brits lost their will? I hope not. My heart goes out to those poor sailors and their families; however, as pow's they should refuse to cooperate with the Iranian terrorists and keep their mouths shut. ie. name rank and sn.

I'm Sure that some of you will say he is No longer relevant, but was sadame any more when the US went into Iraq? Was he killing Americans? Was he attacking anyone at the time? Was he a real threat when he couldn't even fly planes over his own country? Bin Ladden is still at large, His group is still attacking people all over the world. Including US troops, His organization is funding in large part, the **** in Iraq, Don't dismiss him as irrelevant he is doing half of what your fighting to prevent. Why are there not more troops in the area where he is believed to be hiding? Didn't Bush say in the past that he would go where ever it took to get him,and that he would not be swayed by borders ? Even saying he would go into Pakistan if necessary, Why has the hunt for him been all but suspended ? Does he have secrets that the us Government doesn't want known ?

I have this report to do on WWI biplanes but i forgot how they syncronized the machine guns! I know it had something to do with a lever between the propeller shaft & the gun's firing pin, & the process was too expensive so most pilots like Roland Garros took their chances with the propeller being hit. But what the heck did the lever do to the gun to do tht?

We did the same with 911, right? Somebody destroyed twin towers, and we are now killing somebody, even if it's another "somebody". God bless us, we have the truth, we have democracy, we are against all evil.

ever failed, scored low in training, lied, broke the rules or anything like that.

I'm asking because I finally want to do something important with my life after all these years of being a slacker. What i'm saying is that I want to be a part of the military. I don't want to be the guy with the gun, but I would be honored to support those brave guys with the guns fighting out there.

So my question is this: Have you ever known, met or heard of anyone who was given one job, such as a desk job administering paychecks and then all of sudden, in the middle of his duty, been reassigned to a job such as infantry?

Not that I think that infantry is a bad job...just the opposite actually, I think it's one of the coolest things a person could do; they do the duty most guys couldn't even fathom. So my question remains: Have you ever met or heard of someone who'd been assigned one job, and without his consent, was put in a job he didn't want to do, such as the infantry division?

Usa army is developing some of those projects . I'm not talking about 20 feet tall robots or Gm super soldiers. Please be realistic.

Lets say i screwed around in school all my life and didn't take anything seriously. Now I want to join the air force but have little educamacation or practical skills (such as electronics, engineering, or mechanical) and I get a p*ssy desk job. Then while in the air force I also take classes and study up on something such as mechanics, after two years can I take a test or something to prove i'm knowledgable in another area besides pushing paper and try to get a more skilled job?

I have seen many servicemen from England and the U.S. over the years paraded on TV by their captors and of all of those, I have never seen them smiling and laughing and sooo excited to disagree with their governments than I have from these Brits over the past week. I'm not sure they are being so coerced by the Iranians.

The NeoCons stipulated that Iraqis would benifit from America's invasion, and would be better served than they were under Saddam. However a comparison of the death and dislocation that has occured within Iraq since 2003 provides an interesting contrast. (Over 2 million refugees having fled the country, and an estimated 600,000 killed with countless thousands injured and wounded). And if we compare what that would mean if we translate the figures into similar numbers for the United States it becomes frightening, with over 23 million forced to flee and over 7 million killed. It is difficult to find the success from our invasion, when one sees the death, destruction, and dislocation that has resulted.

These people would rape her, gut her, and make her into a bar of soap and a lampshade if she were a Syrian.
They PROMOTE the murder of Americans---PELOSI IS BY ALL INTENTS A MURDERER !!

It is very probable that British sailors did go into Iranian waters. At sea there are no lines to separate waters of a country from international waters or waters from another country. Apparently it is complicated for the British government to apologize. If Iranian authorities do not deliver back unconditionally these sailors in a short term, United States has an excellent reason to continue with the U.S. troops at this part of the world. War will become at large. Perhaps it is time for real diplomacy. Perhaps it is a "Jaque Mate" movement from Bush et al, to continue with their objective entirely.
