Why do governments who have the ability fall down & abandon their troops in times of need EG: The Pueblo Incident

the Bush Administration over and over we can win the war on terror win in fact you can't. deter it yes stop it totally no way. terrorism has been with us for ages and bush makes it like it's something we aint used to here in america. When in fact we have handled terrorism but getting rid of it will take a more global effort and a lot of education. What makes someone terrorize is by what they think is the right way of doing things. You would think by now america would create a terrorism task force but we haven't and we continue to take on terrorism in the wrong approach. Terror is not like any other war we have had it's different why can't this president and vice president realize this????

hi I have seen some webpages about the Stryker APC. according to these pages, the stryker is not a perfect weapon carrier it should be, but only a 20 tons of metal worth of scrap. anyone has personal experience with this staff?

My husband is in the military and regularly hears everyone's political gripes about the war in Iraq. After which they always say "But I support the troops". What I want to know is how many people who say that actually DO something. Or is their support simply a pat on the back and a "atta boy".

i think that the world now is a coward compared to our ancestors
even fighting face to face in a battlefield with a gun can be considered brave
where is the honour of the fighting soldiers
killing unarmed soldiers and taking advantage of helpless civilians

soldiers now are too afraid of their comanders and are willing to kill someone who isnt going to kill him just when the commander give an order

this is just STUPID

Is it time to hand the Falkland Islands to Argentina?
I heard that it costs the British taxpayers an estimated £1 million PER DAY for it's upkeep through having a military presence.
For a small population it seems a disproportionate amount of money, and it's been going on for the last 25 years!
What's your views??

Source: Lost the Korean War....Lost Vietnam....Can't fight the weak insurgents in Iraq....Ran like scared dogs when the Marine Barracks was blown up in Oct 1983 killing 241 Marines...I can't go on because of the abject shame I feel. Excuse me while I go and eat crow.
