If I enlist in the Air National Guard and get money from the GI Bill for serving 6 years active, but then in my 3rd year, I decide to transfer or enlist in the Air Force, how does this affect my GI Bill payments from the National Guard?

Do I just stop recieving payments for National Guard and then start recieving payments from Air Force? Do I have to pay back the GI bill from the Guard since I didn't fullfil the complete 6 year agreement? What happens?

My brother spent 2006 in Iraq laying his life on the line daily for our mission there. I know the costs our soldiers and their families are paying to complete this mission. The timeline you are fighting for is telling them that it does not matter what they sacrifice today nor what they have sacrificed and endured the past years of this war. It says that no matter what happens, we're calling it quits on x date! Help me understand: How does this support our troops? How does this support what they are fighting and dying for? Why are the requests of our military
commanders ignored regarding this timeline? If winning this war is not important, why not bring all our troops home today? This timeline tells me that all my brother fought for and experienced the horrors of war for was for nothing. If we (America)are going to quit on a timeline rather than a victory line, don't spend another life. Bring them all home now!

Terrorism is difficult to define, but lets call it Islamic Fundamentalist Terrorism. Is that what this "War on Terror" is about? Are we fighting terrorism in Iraq or are there other motives? Is it possible to defeat terrorism with military force or are we throwing gasoline on a fire?

I am getting tried of hearing Iraq and war and oil and all those things. I do think that we are losing our soldiers out there! I am thankful that the baby is getting to know his father since his father return from iraq but I was hearing rumors that he is going back. I am a baby sitter of that little boy. So I am getting upset because I know iraq have nothing to do with the war and we suppose to deal with Afahaina (Where Bin Lanand should be live in).

So what is your all thought about this whole things? and why do you think this way?

I know that the F-6 was dubbed as the zero killer, but if memory serves me correctly, the P-51 had a brilliant record for the European theater. How do the planes compare against one another?

American Troops,
Thank you for the sacrifices you make. I have close friends who have served or are serving in Iraq and I know what you do is not easy and often unappreciated. I personally do not support the current administrations policies but you have my full support. If someone wants to insult our Government, politics including my own political view points fine they can do that it is their right. What I will not and cannot tolerate is insults towards the noble men and women who put there lives on the line for a better tommorow. There are war opponents that groan and moan about how we should have never invaded Iraq and how our presence there is only making things worse. These people need to take into perspective the horrors that you work in and that it is honorable not to turn your back on the Iraqi people. So I thank you for all that you have done and all that you are doing and I appologize for those who ignorantly run your names in the mud.

As a Red Sox fan saying I support the Red Sox but do not want to fund Schilling's efforts is essentially what you guys are saying.

I support the Colts, but they should stop paying Manning.

I support the troops, but let's not fund them.

Why can't people see how stupid that is? It seems pretty blatant to me.

I have been having smyptoms of clinical depression for a while now an ever since I joined the military six months ago its gotten. Now Im ready to go to medical and talk to a doctor about it. The only problem is im worried that I could possibly be given a seperation for depression which I dont want and Im not sure how my chain of command would react to antidepressents since I am in the Security Forces as my rate. Will the Navy allow me to keep my rate on antidepressents and not seperate me from service?

the actions they take are completely acceptable. Then, when the Democrats try to cut off money to force the issue of getting our troops out, they are labeled disloyal and unpatriotic??

the paras are with out a doubt an elite part of the uk forces in my opinion outwith the sas and sbs the marines and paras are our most highly trained soldiers the marines traininig is a fair bit tougher than p coy i can qualify that statement as i have trained with both learning to jump as you can guess there is a fair bit of rivalry between the two but if you were to ask them both what they think of each other they highly respect each other
