George Washington: “Act for ourselves and not for others,” by forming an “American character wholly free of foreign attachments.”
Our senseless involvement in Iraq is undermining our ability to defend ourselves from true threats, such as Bin Laden and the Taliban, still strong in Afghanistan because of Bush's neglect of duty.

Everyone thinks we should leave Iraq. Everyone. THe question is when. I believe we should leave when the Iraqi govenment is able to defend itself. You can't put a time limit on that.
Even if Iraq was as bad as the demorats and left wing news media want you to believe, and it's not, by that logic, we should have just quit WW2 in the middle of the battle for Iwo Jima. That would not have been good at all. The world would be a vastly different place.
As much as I disagree with Representative Kucinich (probably spelled incorrectly) I have a great deal more respect for him that the vast majority of congressional democrats, and a few republicans, because he actually sticks to his position. When he says that we should stop the war, he votes that way. He doesn't say, "Well, if you give money to our peanut farmers and spinach farmers we'll let you fight for another year before we force you to give up."
Did you ever stop to think just why Pelosi and Murtha decided on a deadline right before the next general Presidential election? Because no matter how it turns out, they'll spin it to try and make themselves look good. They're counting on having enough people to blindly follow them for that strategy to work.

Yes, yes, yes, I do think we should pull out of Iraq. Just as soon as we have the Iraqi government stabilized enough to where it will have a decent chance to protect their country and the people. If we pull out before then, all the lives and money spent there will have been in vain and we will NEVER know if the idea of a democracy there was a sound strategy.

i don't think we can pull out of Iraq because whatever fills that void if we were to leave would be much worse for everyone. the U.S. military will be a presence in Iraq for several generations in order to help stabilize some form of democracy, protect the rest of the world from Iran, protect the oil in Iraq, and to protect Israel.

I think if we pull out of Iraq now the country will become a hot bed for muslim extremists. I do agree that the Iraq government needs to step it up and put more effort into policing their own country. But if we leave them now in their unstable condition I think we'll regret it later.

well everyone knows that the pull out method is not reliable. haha. but no we should not, the area is in chaos and the military leaving would just be worse. we do need to give clear goals to the iraqi government with a time line. and a corruption tribunal so that when people are arrested they actually get tried and justice is served

Pulling out of Iraq at this stage is wrong idea. If just for hatred for US sucide bombers will go as far as killing it"s own brothers to hot or kill one American.

The US soldiers have already done too much damage to leave unharmed. Bush is a moron, it's an oil war, and a good opportunity to establish overseas. Many of the soldiers have mentioned they don't even know what they're fighting for,, but they are too involved to step out.

i think we should pull out to the boarders only and not let any one in or out and let them fight it out with each other one group would prevail and lead the Iraqi people and we would go back and help that group like the same thing when we did help Saddam with Iran

Yes, because there is no military solution to it.
It is the same reason why US pulled from Vietnam or USSR out of Afghanistan.
