I guess she forgot that she is not Secretary of State. You think the democrats give a damn about anything but their own agenda? She wanted spotlight and probably delighted that there was controversy over her trip. She has no power to negotiate. What can she do but offer false promises that the US government will solve their problems....wow that sounds like what democrats tell voters here. Maybe we can set up a welfare program in Syria, maybe offer them universal health care....alteast it would be a step in destroying their nation too.

You guys are funny! Your alcoholic lying president can get a 100,000 killed over nothing, But the 3rd in line to succeed the president can't go on a fact finding tour. I would hope that all America would want the speaker to know what is going on, rather than listen to Bush.

Maybe Bush can give the VA Hospitals back the $100 BILLION he cut them! And no matter what figures you lie about (23,000 wounded in Iraq) why are we treating 105,000 wounded from Iraq in the very hospitals that Bush cut. I think we all know what shape they are in and who is responsible for that!

Interesting how she speaks to dictators but not with the elected Iraqi prime minister.
Kind of makes me suspect what type of government she prefers.
