Be proud to be an American or be gone. Korea wasn't a war any more than Viet Nam was. They were both politically motivated police actions. When politicians run the wars, we lose. "Ran like scared dogs" isn't exactly accurate either and you know it. We are a country founded on Christian beliefs, no matter how hard that is for some people to choke down. We will turn the other cheek, act with restraint, but only for so long. You mention the marine barracks, don't forget PanAm over Lockerbee, the Dubai Towers, the first attack on the WTC, the USS Cole, the attacks on the African embassies, the poor American cripple they threw overboard on that cruise ship. And on and on. Ashamed? Hell no! I'm proud as hell we've finally got somebody with the huevos to show these carpet kissing, camel jockeys that game time is over, time to pay the piper. And don't worry, when the Dem's take over in 2008, reduce military spending, pull the troops from the middle east, lighten up Homeland security, we will get hit again even harder than before. The Democratic party will dissolve, spat upon in public, hiding in the dark like the roaches they are and true America will rise up and destroy the terrorist threat once and for all!
Phew! I think I hurt myself...

I understand how you feel, but do you remember what Harry Truman did? He stopped WWII in the most horrible way ever recorded in history. Americans know that we could have won all these wars that you have mentioned, but the loss of life of innocent civilian blood is what God tells us not to shed. You can't win a war where good and bad people are mixed together without you are so cold hearted that you don't care about the innocent. Truman knew that he had to use the atomic bomb or the shedding of American blood would become worse. He killed 2 cities to stop the war in its tracks. To win in Iraq we would need to take out the entire country and of course it can be done, but then who have you helped? We want to live in America. We don't want to live in Iraq. We are not fighting to occupy. We are fighting to help the underdog against the big bad bulldog. I wish everything in America ran on Ethanol and oil could not even come into this situation, but it does. Hold your head high and know who you are - a brave American. " No greater love has any man than he lay down his life for his friend. " All giants must walk softly and be careful who they step on. Giants know that if they aren't careful, they will step on everyone. Just because you are big and powerful and dangerous does not mean that you should take out nations. America is a giant, big, powerful and dangerous and we must take careful steps. I know how you feel. We have so much and we can't use it. May the Lord Bless You and give you peace!

We did not lose Korea, the objective of the Korean War was to keep South Korea independent from the Communists, we accomplished that. The goal was not to reunite them with the North, and technically speaking the Korean War is still going on since no formal surrender or truce was signed.
After the Linebacker mass bombing operations we had North Vietnamese leaders ready to negotiate. The Tet Offensive was a huge military victory for us but, Walter Cronkite lost us the war. Blame the media & our Congress for our defeats, no one can beat the US military in unrestrained conventional warfare.
Besides the fact-
Revolution- Victory
1812-Victory
Mexico-Victory
Civil War-Victory for the US since we stayed united
Spanish American-Victory
WWI-Victory
WWII-Victory
Gulf War I-Victory
8-2 is not a bad record by any standards.

We won the Korea War because we drove the NKA over the 37th Paralell. We did not lost Vietnam because the South Vietnamese failed to defend themselves.
You can blame Marine Barracks on the Liberals policies after Vietnam.
I am not ashame to be an American. I am proud. You need to quit being brainwash by the left wing wackos.

Don't stay someplace you are ashamed of! Try Canada and New Zealand!
BTW, Korea was not lost, it's still an open question. We could have did better in Lebanon '83. However you seem to have forgotten Libya 1986, Desert Storm 1991, Panama 1989 and even Greneda 1983. If you are ashamed over losses, think on these.

WOOHOO!!! One liberal ****** down.....one step closer to the solution.
We didn't lose the Korean war....if you think we did ask South Korea - their economy is doing great.
We "lost" Vietnam because of the same BS that is going on in America with regards to Iraq. And last time I checked we are still over a 10:1 kill ratio with insurgents in Iraq. Not that you would know anything about fighting or the "weak insurgents in Iraq"
But great, take this semi-fact to heart and get your *** out of this country. We have a surplus of pieces of useless **** in Congress and can stand to lose you.

ERUDITE, I thought they caught up with you and threw you back in the looney bin, but since you're back, you and I know what you say is not true. Militarily neither Korea or Vietnam were lost, so get your facts straight before you spread your lies here. I understand you have become a propaganda consultant for the Taliban. Is that true ?

There are people better than you who are DYING to get to this country. They have tried and many have died for YEARS to get into a country YOU'RE ashamed of being a citizen of. MY advice to you , get your lazy, fat a.s.s out if you hate it here so much. Go to a wonderful country like Malawi or its neighbor MOZAMBIQUE. Then tell me how terrible the United States is.
GONG you did it again.
