I'm interested in joining the Air Force to be a Rad tech.After training is over how long would I have to been in the Air Force?

if your worried about how long you have to be in dont join. the military doesnt need or want you seriously. we have enough people who want to get out when dont need another slacker counting down the days til they get out.

if you do join its at least 8 years. 4 active and 4 reserve or 6 active 2 reserve or you can stay in and make it a career

That would be something to ask your recruiter. I'm not sure how long technical training is for rad tech. But you can either enlist for 4 or 6 years. If you enlist for 6 years you will be able to sew on A1C earlier. But either way its 8 years total, Either 4 years active and 4 years inactive; or 6 years active and 2 years inactive.

All military contracts are 8 years total divided up by active and reserve years
