Depends, on what you propose to SHOOT, with it, - and WHERE! The M-16 IS, indeed, a FINE weapon, - VERY ACCURATE, in trained hands, - but, it DOES have a tendency to JAM, if used in "ADVERSE" conditions! The AK-47, on the other hand, will OPERATE, - and, will DO so, VERY ACCURATELY, - when OTHER weapons - such AS the "M-16" would have been USELESS, because of MUD, - DIRT, - WATER, etc..

Just as a matter of INTEREST, you MAY like to KNOW, that, - BECAUSE the AK-47 is popular with TERRORISTS, and so forth, - its DESIGNER, - Russian, MIKHAIL KALASHNIKOV, - SOBBED, and told gathered NEWSMEN, that "I WISH THAT I HAD SMASHED THE PROTOTYPE TO PIECES!"

I prefer the M-16 for its range and accuracy. The AK is a simpler weapon for ignorant people to operate.
