We went in with about one third of the troops recommended by out top Generals-we went in basically by ourselves. We disbanded the military (Iraqi)-We can't even control our own borders-if the country surrounding Iraq did not like us before -they like us even less. I lean more to being a conservative-but our country is being run by a handfull of people and they are scary.-We are constantly blaming Iran and Syria-a hint to Bush-Cheney and Rove-they don't like us. They have left a real mess for our next Pres.

No it shouldn't! We've gone on too long already. We should leave Iraq totally now! I've had 2 brothers go on 2 tours in Iraq already -- ENOUGH!

Could not have worded it better.

What job is it of Syria, Iran, Turkey to police Iraqs borders? We won Iraq, we should police it.

And, I think you are right, most of the country leans toward a little conservative. Its just as a nation we trust "conservatives" to govern. And, they go much further to the right than anyone expected. Then, we elect a middle of the road democrat to straighten things out. After that happens, we crap shoot on conservative again.

I see typical liberal whining in your statements. You forgot that the the coalition turned over the country to the government of Iraq. If you are not happy with the border situation, take it up with Mr. Maliki.
People who blame the US for all of the world's problems should get their heads out of the sand.
Border security in Iraq is a problem because Iran and Syria are making it a problem. Address your complaints to the people causing the problems.
The same applies to the US. We have a border security problem...caused by illegals! illegally! coming across our borders. Take your complaints to the Mexican government and the people of Mexico. They routinely break our laws, and you blame the US.
Liberal whining about the US is not welcome here.

Let's try crawling before walking, let's concentrate on our Southern border first and then expand into the business of border security for other countries.
