According to Einstein it will be; though he said next world war. There are plenty of other wars that have happened since WWII (which was around the time he made the quote) which haven't been fought with nuclear weapons.
In all likelihood the next world war would be - as one of the definitions of a world war is that it's a total war - everything is a legitimate target and any means to win may be used. However, the next global conflict may not be a world war, and therefore will probably not use nuclear weapons.

If the next one is fought with atom bombs I highly doubt Brittany Spears will be around to fight the next one.

I recommend you track down a film called threads it was made in the 1980's and is about a nuclear war. It has a strange relevance today which is frightening. The story is about a USSR invasion of iran which the USA counter attacks and results in all out war. It shows you the aftermath of a nuclear war, the sickness, the burned bodies, the mutations, the struggle to survive etc. It is one of the most horrible films i ever seen and is a real shocker. Makes the scenes from the terminator films look like rainbow.

But I dont think any nation could use nuclear weapons anymore. The nations of the world would be up in arms against them - and rightfully so!
Only terrorists could do it.
