POW under duress wouldnt look that relaxed and cheer like those "soldiers" did. smiling in front of map full of inscriptions in arabic, acting like david duchovny. seems to me that iranis did wrong. actually they spoiled some kind of JAG series or what. don't you think?

hi s0st4 etc. i got some basic POW training. one of the basic rules was be a grey man, do not attract attention. one of the soldiers shown on CNN was prettz much enjoying staying in front of cameras and talking. do you think he couldn't say "Our commander ordered it" and omit any pointing into the map?

All I know is that I am embarrased for the British Military for those so-called Sailors who, at the drop of a hat, sold out their nation, family, friends and other loyal military personnel on Iranian televison. They are not Sailors, they are shameful cowards.

Well, of course, you are entitled to your opinion. But you are stretching to find that these sailors were actors. Of course, they were treated without abuse, because the Iranians did not want a confrontation over this issue at this time. It was carried out in front of international cameras to show that there was no violation of international law, and the Iranians did not want to treat them as POW's.

I am afraid you have been watching too much television and have too wild an imagination to think these were actors. They were certainly not very good actors if that were the case. NOT David Duchovny types , I assure you. But if you want to believe they were abducted by aliens, ...well, go ahead. But forgive me if I laugh.

Yeah, your right. No doubt about it. Even Rosie O'Donnel said the whole thing was a set up so Iran could be invaded. Who could *ever* doubt that Rosie doesn't know the straight dope? Oh, and by the way...the Earth is flat, the moon is a NASA hoax, and Elvis is alive and working in a donut shop in Cleveland.

Maybe to you they seemed like that, but they weren't being treated wrongly so why should they look scared if the Iranians weren't being hostile to them? your a little undereducated when it comes to POW stuff aren't ya? lol

They were soldiers in a play executed by Bush. But Iran outsmarted him. Guess that is not hard to do. He is looking for a way to invade Iran and steal their oil money like he is doing in Iraq. He had better hurry, Thank God time is running out of his reign as king.

Anything that concerns captives, army, navy, etc are all staged and executed. "All the worlds a stage" - Milton-Keynes 1991.
