Hehe, cute analogy for the situation.
I wish instead of attacking or ignoring pretty much everyone in the middle east, that he would have protected our borders, strengthened our military and used a power virtually unknown to him--diplomacy. Can't wait for '08, let's hope he didn't damage us beyond repair.

Whining? so if the military explains a fact, answers questions about the situation, the (Bush)government is whining?---
everyday some seriously devious liberal reporter located safely in some Baghdad hotel asks an inane question (is the border porous, general???)
Next comes headlines and political commentary followed by hysteria....

Really simple answer.
Step one..invade country and expect populace to rejoice and love the foreign invaders for freeing them.
Step two: Act surprised when internal factions begin fighting now that Country is unstable.
Step three: Whine about the borders that are allowing Al-Quaida, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, and some illegal Mexicans to come into the country and cause Havoc (Kidding about the Mexicans).
Step four: Blame the Democrats.
Works like a charm!!!

They seem to lock up the people who are doing their job on the borders here in the US and these 3 were actually doing thier jobs but now they are in prison for shooting a drug dealer/smuggler/mule in the buttocks, what a shame these guys have done nothing wrong and it is almost totally left out of the news. As far as the Iraq borders who is guarding them, oh thats right Maliki's heros are and they are doing their best to allow anything to come into Iraq for a couple of cents, Maliki does not want anything but complete control of all of the profits in Iraq when the oil is going again.

Its the Iranian and Syrian forces and arms crossing the border and further fueling civil unrest among the Sunni and Shia. Its a major cause of death to lots of people, including our soldiers on the ground.

Actually, a better question would be why the border between Iran and Iraq is such an issue, when the Mexico-US border is not.

Isn't that something and he is doing nothing to fix the ones here. Should be of no surprise though. He was warned but as usual felt he knew better than everyone else who had experience in the field.
