our president uses not being able to find binladen as an excuse to keep the war going so if they can find him then the troops might be able to come home.

How long will it take to become a Major, if he goes for the requirements per month and year, plus some extra days?

How about Colonel?

How about General?

Also, will his rank be considered equal to an officer of his same rank on active duty?

THANKS!

My boyfriend is considering joining the army. I dont know what to think, or what to expect if he does join. I have dated guys that were already in the military when we started a relationship, but this is the first relationship where he is just joining. I am a strong person and know what to expect, but he is "the one" and I think being without him for long amounts of time will be much harder than in my past relationships because I know I love him with all my heart. Him and I have also talked about getting married even before he talked about the army. I dont know if we should consider marriage before he actually gets deployed or not. I need some advice on how to support him, what to expect, or just any advice in general.

Have they achieved anything of value. they're just a bunch of useless morons who take their orders from the same people that cause all the problems in the world.

To all those relief workers who go into a war zone who think they are braver than the soldiers cause they go in unarmed ......remember that the soldiers have already cleared the areas you work in and protect you from attack. This is directected at the minority group rather than the genuin relief workers who are doing a great job for humanity

My question is when a nuclear powerr plant like "three mile island" leaks and has an accident where they leak nuclear waste and they must shut down the reactor? I am also wondering how do they seal off the reactor or core and how do they keep they core from melting through its containment camber ?

I was doing a project on the Military for School, and I came across the Rank structures of each branch, the Army and the Marines are mostly the same, with just a few differences, but the Air Force seems to be the complete opposite, and the Navy and Coast Guard are the same, but completely different than any thing else. Why is that?

I mean aren't the Marines part of the Navy, and didn't the Air Force used to be part of the Army Air Corps?

Then the Navy's officer ranks all look the same as the rest of the branches, but have different names. If we are a united Military, why aren't our Ranks?

Hi. I have had mild athsma all my life. I am taking an AMAZING product called Limu that has gotten rid of most of my athsma. I realy want to join the reserves, but athsma is a disqualifier. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of athsma? Please don't talk about meds, thay only cover it up and cause me worse problems. And if anyone knows about millitary rules reguarding athsma, please help me. This means a lot to me, so don't tell me it can't be done. I've heard enough of that. I want ideas of how I can do it.
Thanks! You all are GREAT!!!

My daughter in law has a friend that told her, he did basic in Paris Texas. The only base there, that I knew of, was closed. It had been closed for many years. So my questions is this. Is there an open Army base in Paris Texas.

Sort of a broad question...but I hear you work 0730-1630... typical work hours but after work... can I lift weights for awhile then read in the library or if I have an e-book to read? A few hours of spare time? I hear on-shore is typical work...but I am expecting the worst so I wonder about all the time you have on-board. Enough time to read a book once and awhile? I am expecting it to be work 18 hours sleep 5 hours and eat 1 hour. Completely clueless my recruiter said they have a library (crappy selection) but readable material none the less.

Remeber you're hot and sweaty, feeling dehydrated and it's near the end of the day.

They seem to be doing something there. They look up and see you, and your patrol. There seems to be something in their hands.
When they realise who you are they bolt off in the direction of the other side of the road. They look like they have
assault rifles. What do you do?

A: Shoot them (ask questions later)
B: Try to apprehend them.
C: Stop the patrol (let's say you have vehicles). Call the Bomb
disposal unit.
