Ill try to give you an honest resonable answer. Find a country that has Sunni influence and yet a decent relationship with Europe concerning trade, a stake in the outcome of Iraq and is protected due to present negotiations concerning the unstable situation in the Middle East..... and thats where he would be planted. If you find him....... I want half of the reward. : )
Our lasting presence in Iraq is actually not based on Osama. The fact that he may still be alive is important to the enemy there however because one of a terrorist organizations primary goals is to cause lack of confidence in a targeted governement by its own people. His possible existance, if in fact he actually is still alive, is used for that very purpose. We are still in Iraq for the simple reason that a failure in that region at this point would be damaging to the bigger picture. If that campiagn were to fail it would cause further damage to our image in the eyes of the Iraqi people and in the eyes of US citizens, the Uk etc. They cant beat a conventional force head on. Their best recourse is to destroy it by causing a lack of confidence in it. So you have to understand that even if he was killed a while back, if the Coalition Forces didnt find him first...... the last thing that a terrorist group would do is let that become common knowledge. To be honest...... I truely believe that they want us to stay in Iraq simply because the longer we are there without satisfactory results in the hearts and minds of the US, the UK etc.... the better overall results they will have concerning their cause......... to stamp out democratic influence in that region and to cause an unrest that would draw the Islamic local governments together in a solid partnership with a common goal being to wipe out support for Isreal. PERIOD. Hows that?

It's a fact, Democrats have proved they're totally weak on national security. Bin laden hasn't shown his face in 3 years and there has not been a terrorist attack in the US for more than 5 years. Sounds like Bush is doing his job protecting the American people...

Well hmmm thats a good question.The CIA,U.S military and the government are trying to answer that too.But of course most people would be desperate enough to go to the Afghan-Pak border to get him if they knew where he was.Especially because of the price tag he has on his head.

This is the million dollar question. Nobody really knows, heck if bush doesn't even know, how do we? They :SUSPECT: that he's somewhere in the mountains in Iraq. I'm not too sure where. Do some research; that should clear things up a little.
