Naval aviation is one of the most exciting fields there is. Having served in the Navy and having two brothers in the Army at the same time I must tell you they felt I was the smart one. I had a wider opportunity and felt the education factor was much greater in the Navy. Now this was during the mid to late 60's so you know where we all served. Today I would still go Navy. "Navel Air "that is.

I hope you already have a four year degree and ROTC...not to mention scored very high in both. If not, forget about being a helicopter or jet pilot. Concentrate on Military Intelligence. I would suggest Air Force because they seem to treat their people better and spend more money on quality of life. I was in the Army and was stationed at a DOD facility that supported all branches of the military in one base. I won't tell you where this was but it has since closed down. Many MI units were there. I noticed the Air Force always had better barracks and equipment. Go Air Force....but whatever you do, serve proudly.

If you want to be a helicopter pilot, there are no better pilots than the 160th, Night stalkers out of Ft Campbell, KY. If you want intelligence, once again the Army, we have the largest piece of the pie. Jet pilot, go AF. Public affairs, Marines, they are the best of grabbing credit even thought they get their *** kicked left and right. Navy, well, that is a tough one. You know what they say, 100 men go in and 50 couples come out.

I would say go for the Air Force, because they will work with you and in my opinion they have the best equipment and education.
You will find that if you ask, you will be able to do some intelligence work.
(If you are looking for who has the best food, I found the Navy food was excellent compared to what I received with the Air Force). This was going back from 1955 to 1967. (Don´t know what the food is like today).
Examaple, I was a B-52 pilot for twelve years out of a base in Japan. They allowed me to attend medical school during the day and fly at night. Was even allowed to remain on the same base for twelve years.
Most important is that you have excellent grades in ROTC and when you take the exams., you want to score in the top ten. (I was first in my class and I can say the Air Force, really worked with me to see that all my personal needs were met).
One thing I learned in life is that you must always ask for what you want in life. Just know that you don´t get everything in life that you ask for, so be prepared for rejection. If you don´t ask you will never know.
Plus you will be very surprised, if you do ask, how often the answer will be "yes".
Now I am a volunteer doctor, (clinical psychiatrist), who resides out of Paris, France

Marine Corps has all of those MOS's......Army isn't into fixed wing aircraft and the Air Force can't land on carriers. Navy would be a good second option.
