Like Clinton being held accountable for committing perjury?

Of course the big difference here is that nobody can quote a law that Rumsfield supposedly broke.

Or is the requirement that a law actually be violated irrelevant of you disagree with their politics?

Rumsfeld 'resigned', and is surely enjoying a comfortable retirement with lavish pensions and perks, thanks to the United States taxpayers. As he sips on his margarita, I'm sure he's laughing all the way to the bank. It wouldn't surprise me if he's still on the government payroll as a "consultant" or 'special adviser'. Like Bush and Cheney, he is nothing more than an evil-doer, a predator, a war monger, and just another corrupt political bureaucrat who sucks off the taxpayers' teat. -RKO- 04/18/07

I don't seem to remember any law Rumsfield broke.

Maybe if you know of any, you should contact the Justice Department.

Like all retired Military Officers, im sure Rumsfield is enjoying his retirement.

Are you accusing him of criminal wrong doing? I remember that ALL troops believed in him! The only non believers were the bleeding heart/liberal/anti war/politicians that couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel--BUT I don't remember anyone filing criminal charges????

No, they usually aren't.

No comment on the Rummy sentence.
