Nato's role in Vietnam was zip.
Nato means North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and as Vietnam isn't in the Atlantic there was no reason for the to be involved.
The only countries who joined the US in Vietnam that I recall were Australia, New Zealand and the Republic of Korea. (South)

None. NATO stands for the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. Last time I looked at a map Vietnam wasn't in the North Atlantic.

NATO didn't have a role in Vietnam as it wasn't in the Atlantic or any countries that have an Atlantic Coast. Vietnam is no where near the Atlantic.

I don't think NATO had a role because it was not in the North Atlantic theater.

But there is an organization called SEATO (South East Asian Treaty Organization). Don't know much about it.
