You're suggesting mass genocide by weapons of mass destruction. Now that I've put it in perspective what do you think? Don't you think it would be a sensless act of violence?
Oh, and once we nuke both of those countries, neither will be inhabitable for 10000 years and we won't be able to use the oil from there either.
The Iraqi citizens DID NOT start this whole mess. It was Sadaam and his looney co-horts. And Bush escallated by invading. Iran has done nothing to us up until now. They're gov is crazy but most of the citizens are just like the rest of us-- trying to live life.
Let me add some more perspective. Our whole nation has grieved over 9/11 (3000+ people) and over Virg. Tech (32+ people). You're suggesting killing MILLIONS of people?
Sorry, I don't want anymore innocient blood on our country's hands.
What is wrong with you?

Just because the Cold War is over, doesn't mean that World War III can't be started. The world is jealous of us enough right now so we don't need to make it worse. It would be better just to pullout and close our borders behind us (for real). Japan and Germany stopped fighting and started rebuilding because we beat them back into the stone age. Now they have rebuilt and they still have an Axe to grind. I've lived in both places and you can feel it. Iraq was left in tact when we occupied it. like the Soviets in Afghanistan. The result will eventually the same.

It SOUNDS terrible, certainly, but I'm not entirely sure it would be.
I mean, look at what happened with Japan. We drop TWO nuclear bombs on a tiny little scrap of land, and not only does Japan survive, but it also rises to the leading techological force on this planet (WITHOUT any desire for nuclear retaliation). Could dropping a nuke or two in the Middle East have the same quelling effect that it had on Japan?

Try to develop some empathy here. Somewhere over in Tehran, there is a little girl thinking, "Would it really be so bad if my government developed nuclear weapons so that we could kill all of the Americans and Israelis? After all, they started this whole mess anyways"? How does that though make you feel? Should the Iranians kill all of us? Would it really be so bad?

imagine u'r a 5 yr old kid in Iraq and u r playing in ur house, waiting for ur dad who's gone forever. And a nuclear bomb is dropped in ur town killing everyone including u. There are more innocent ppl in Middle East compared to the ppl who really deserve to die.

You do realize that the cost would be in excess of $2,000 per casualty and you would be killing millions of children and innocents. Oh yea, let us not forget Iran is the second largest producer in Opec with Iraq at a distant 10th.

As much as we would like to it can't happen, and not fo the reason of oil as we only get a very very small % of oil from the middle East (Saudi). We getit from Canada, Mexico, Venezuela and Africa in that order people!

You want to turn the middle east to glass? This is a bad idea what does it show everyone in other countries and where will we get our ever needed oil? We can't solve our problems by nuking anyone who disagrees with us
