If you answer is Yes, then I ask you what are you doing personally to bring them home. Have you or will you send your message out to your top party policticans and tell them your request or will you not say anything and let them keep fighting and wasting their time on a war they can't possibly win.

I've been hearing lateley that the U.S. millitary is secretly lowering the bar in standards to join the millitary, due to lack of new troops.
Fewer and fewer ppl are joing the millitary...particularly Army and Marines, who can balme them? they know they'll just end up in Iraq fighting a greedy man's private war.
Is the U.S millitary getting desperate?

In the Air Force if you sign a 6 year contract you start out as an E-3 as of now I'd started as an E-1 an could only make E-3 after 16 months but only have a 4 year contract. I would like the extra ranks from the start higher paygrade an such, but I am not so sure about the 6 year contract what if it isnt for me I could just do my 4 an get out without the extra 2 years. My recruiter told me though after 3 years if the air force wasnt for me I could request to just get out if I had found a job or something on the outside. His reasoning was that after 3 years the air force had gotten the money back out of you that it had cost them to train you and the air force is over populated by about 29,000 bodies so getting out now is much easier than it used to be if I really did not like it an did not feel 6 years for me. So I am now leaning more towards the 6 years with the extra ranks but if It really wasnt for me is their any truth to what he said?

At my company they want "College" in your back ground. They don't want or care about "Military" at all. We have two supervisors who went to Canada back in 1968 and 1969 and they were hired and make big money. So military back ground means very little. The few military men we have are misfits who talk about killing people all the time. All of us stay away from them.
