If you were honorably discharged and have no history of drug or alcohol abuse, try Blackwater Security, Armor Group or the other contractors over here. Web site for potential Companies can be found at Dangerzonejobs.com. As far as the comments by Juan, if you are fighting with us, it is honorable, no matter what he says. As you know, the military has to go by certain rules, and some of these companies has their own set of rules. Good luck in your quest, but take heed to this certain type of job, it has a 40% motality rate.

First discard any moral compass that you may have been guided by. Today's mercenary companies are noted for cheated wounded employees and abandoning employees in the field"when the outlay would exceed the gain". As a marine you had someone to watch your six, as a mercenary you watch your back and watch every one else close to you for the knife or shot.

In S.Carolina they have training schools for contractors who perform security duties in Iraq and other places in the world. I am sure you could google security contractors or some such thing, and they will appear. It is probably a Haliburton company, but I'm just guessing. Stay safe! Semper Fidelis!

Check out www.triplecanopy.com. It's a private security firm started by vets, they are always hiring vets. They do other things than security, so it's worth a shot.
