We are getting whipped we are just mis managed. Americans are not good managers and it shows in war and in business. We would have to eradicate everyone in the middle east to win the war.

I think for several reasons - the first would be our troops were sent to war without proper equipment - those dopes in Washington didn't think ahead beyond overthrowing Saddam and, most important is a lesson we should have learned in Vietnam; you cannot win a war when you can't identify the enemy. They don't wear any regulation army uniforms, they have no "military bases", we don't know where they are, who they are. They live among the local population, hide behind schools and hospitals, use innocent civilians as shields and steal their weaponry. In a war fought by a guerilla army, the guerillas usually come out on top.

Because just like in Vietnam we do not know how to fight a war against an enemy who does not fight conventionly. I am reminded of our Revolunionaly War in which we fought from behind trees while the Red Coats fought in formation. Who won. As long as our military fights conventionly then we will have a hard time winning a war against such an enemy. The major problem of us fighting that type of war is that I don't think the media would allow us to do so, because they would devulge our every move to the enemy like they do now. They tell the enemy where we are going to go in in force just like they announce to the world that we were going to build up our troops in Bagdad, thereby giving the enemy time to move out and start trouble elsewhere.

Consider the source of your information! What political party are they affiliated with? Have you seen any positive reports from them? Also consider that we are trying to turn over responsibility to the Iraq's to police their own country. Do you want us to go in and clean up the country or do you want us to bring the military home? Hard to have both.

The ground war in Iraq is a very difficult one. The enemy hides behind civilians like the cowards they are. You can't tell an enemy Iraqi from a friendly because no one is wearing uniforms. The cowardly 'insurgent' ''MEN" (gag) even dress as women to hide from our troops. The U.S. military is hampered by RULES OF ENGAGEMENT that really has our hands tied. If we ACCIDENTALLY kill a civilian we're branded BABY KILLERS and accused by the media of HUNTING DOWN CIVILIANS TO MURDER. Our men and women are doing an excellent job for the situation they are in. It's not like in WW2 where if you saw someone in a German uniform, you shot him without wondering "DID I JUST KILL A CIVILIAN?" I'd like to see CNN to a better job or suggest how to do a better job instead of BAD MOUTHING our U.S. Military men and women. Typical of the MEDIA to sit in their climate controlled offices and think they know EVERYTHING and can judge what's going on from NYC.

Its hardly a "hind end whipping." You have obviously never experienced a "hind end whipping."

Their efforts are being hampered by the seditious behavior of people like you.

Your comment is as stupid as the so called doomsday's is. How many insurgents are being exterminated against our troops. Even 1 dead American or Coliltion Soldier killed is too many. But considering your comment and the other nimrod, you're proberly sitting in the comfort of your cozy home, too afraid to venture out and defend what freedom you have in what country you live in. Be a Man, reach down, grab hold, and come over here and help to defend for your right to post stupid comments and questions.

Thought of avarage US troop in Iraq: "I want to go home and not die before I do."

Thought of avarage insurgent in Iraq: "I want the American troops to go home, and I am prepared to die to myself to make them leave."

The US troops and the Iraqi insurgents are really working towards the same goal.
